"It would be great to add some blackout curtains to the main living area for those who sleep in that space during the summer. The blackout curtains in the bedroom were very nice!"

"Very nice and private accommodation, you have all kinds of comfort and everything you need inside, you can cook with an induction plate and surroundings are so silent and beautiful. Close to Akureyri it’s a place I would recommend for a couple!"

"It was truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. The golden grass, surrounding mountains, and horses created such a picturesque and peaceful atmosphere — it felt like paradise. The house itself is small but very cozy and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. "Amazing farmhouse, I was the only guest which meant I had the cottage to myself which was lovely! A warm and inviting house with comfy lounge area, great kitchen with everything in it to cook a complete meal! The bathroom was warm and even had a big bath (should the occasion arise)! I can't comment on the views because I arrived and left in the dark during winter but from the windows it looked like it would be lovely overlooking the lake! The hosts were very friendly although I didn't meet them in person, they were very responsive when I messaged! Great location to explore the peninsula! Would definitely recommend to others."

"Really charming place the tent was really nice and there is a central house where you can fix your own food and table and there are showers and bathrooms. I can imagine it might be really busy during peak season. It was very charming. Very nice place to stay. I definitely recommend dropping by the town pool spa. It was really refreshing."
