"A gem of a place to stay. Great location on the water. We awoke to whales, dolphins and a pup seal and mom. The beds were comfortable and the rooms nicely decorated. The host was kind and took time to tell us about the area. Breakfast was good assortment. Would highly recommend and hope to be able to visit again."

"A lovely selection of food for breakfast. The owner made us fresh expresso and chatted with us about our travels. This was such a wonderful place to rest and reset, the beautiful view, the clean and tasteful design of the rooms. I have already recommended this to others. Staying in Lonkot and visiting Hofsos Emigration Museum was on of the highlights of our 2 week trip. I highly recommend booking this wonderful retreat."

"Lonkot is at the edge of the ocean surrounded by mountains, lagoons and sea rocks. It's a cute cottage with everything one needs. Our hostess/owner of the hotel, Julia, was very kind, friendly, and welcoming. She made us feel at home. It's close Hofsos infinity pool. Looks recently renovated and meticulously clean."

"The location was fantastic and the breakfast great. We learned from the owner that the dining room was destroyed by a water leak, and the renovations are lovely. They plan to renovate the rooms this coming winter."

"Great place! Wonderful location 50 meters from the ocean, a quiet and peaceful place where you can feel close to nature. The rooms are simply furnished, clean, with comfortable beds, and the breakfasts are delicious. The owner, Julia, is very friendly and simply a very nice person. Thank you and best regards :)"

"The pod was actually delightful with air conditioning and charging ports along with a tv. It also had storage lockers for me so I can have as much space as possible. The hostess was genuine and kind. She helped me out through the entire process and even recommended several spots to visit. It was smooth and comfortable."
