"The location was simply jaw-dropping. It has its own waterfall (at least after a rain!). Mountains and lava fields complete the surroundings. The cabin is well designed, clean, and cozy, and the kitchen equipment met our needs. We loved the picture windows, which also included blackout shades for the sunlit nights. The tiny refrigerator features a freezer, which was a nice amenity for travelers -- like us -- who carry blue ice for a small cooler. If you want to experience the Icelandic wilderness experience, there is no better place!"
"I wish it had been furnished with a loveseat or sofa and small coffee table instead of two chairs and an end table, but that's a small quibble. Otherwise, it was one of our favorite spots in our 16-day adventure."

"It is the perfect tiny cottage for solo travelers, couples or for small family of 3 who likes nature and to get away from all the chaos from the city. Cottage included everything even a little dish washer and a conventional oven. Loved how small but it had everything you need. Also it was very easy to get there and check in even in the winter and after getting dark outside. They even plowed the snow out right upto the door step early in the morning so we could easily drive in thick snow. The host was really sweet to leave us some chocolate wafers which I loved and now I am taking a whole bunch back home for sure. :) The best part is we were extremely lucky to see Aurora/ Northern Lights show on our first night itself in the cottage."
