"The property was just what we wanted. We were far enough away from Borgarnes to see the northern lights. The two houses next to each other were charming. And Auskar and Freya (two sheep dogs?) were the cutest, best behaved companions."

"The broken pipes near the gate which look dangerous for a car to pass over them, this definitely needs to be repaired. The dog coming by too frequently and limited our appetite to sit outside the cabin and enjoy the outdoorsy feel."

"Our stay was wonderful! The cottage was cozy, warm, and had everything we needed. A special highlight was their two amazing dogs, Freya and Askur—such gentle and playful companions. Our 3-year-old absolutely loved playing with them (more than an hour in the cold), and it was such a nice touch to have dog toys in the cottage. The location was also perfect, with windows facing the northern lights direction. After three winter trips to the Nordic countries, we finally got to see the northern lights—right from the comfort of our warm cottage at 1 AM! It was truly a magical experience, and we were actually sad to leave."

"This was the least expensive place we stayed in Iceland and without a doubt the best equipped. I even found a stand mixer. Holy cow. Even flour and other baking supplies and dry foodstuffs, oils and coffee. If you brought your own egg, you could bake a cake. Anyway, the cabin (1 of 2) is located on a sheep farm. Very pastoral. We were greeted by Oskar and his daughter Freya. they are the owner's dogs and are super friendly (and gorgeous). Our host, a friendly fellow (forgot name) stopped by on his way out to welcome us and introduce himself. We felt right at home. Honestly, they could easily be charging $100 more per night. pro tip - use your savings and shop at the divine Ullarserid to get an heirloom quality sweater."

"nothing negative comes to mind. we did fear that there was an issue with the shower control, but you just need to search for the turnoff point to truly turn the water off (otherwise it drips)."
