"Nónhamar was one of our top stays in Iceland (out of 10 lodgings), even if our most expensive. We rented two separate, self-contained units (one for each couple) for two nights. The units are super clean and very spacious with many windows (bright!). There is a kitchen table/chairs to enjoy meals and play games. And the two comfy lounge-type chairs are well-placed in front of the huge floor-to-ceiling window…great for reading/relaxing. The location is super quiet and private. The host was very responsive and kind. Parking is right in front of your unit. I highly recommend a stay at Nónhamar."
"A nice extra touch would be a complimentary roll of paper towel, like all our other lodgings in Iceland provided. Very minor comment but thought I’d pass this along to the very kind host."
"A great location, beautiful cottage nestled among the sheep pastures with views, clean and very comfortable. Was easy to find, great communication. We ate dinner in after a long 5 hour glacier hike (highly recommend Iceland Mountain Guides). After a beautiful day, we came back to rain and cold and felt cozy and comfy just relaxing in the guest house especially after almost completing the Ring road and many days of go go go! We loved our stay!"

"The tiny home was very comfortable and spacious. It was fully equipped with amenities like coffee. The entire area around it was scenic with close access to Skaftafell and Jokulsarson. We only stayed two nights but would love to have stayed longer."

"Nicely setup cabin in a gorgeous location, very convenient right off the Ring Road with an easy drive to Jökulsárlón. Cabin had a small kitchen with stove top that we used to make dinner, and the bathroom was great— shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. I also appreciated the desk in the room (I have to work while traveling, unfortunately). I would definitely stay here again!"

"We moved to the apartment instead of the caravan, so the review is for that instead. The apartment was great. In fact, the entire town is wonderful, and a stay here is magical. What made it extra special is Thomas. He takes fabulous care of his guests, he is fun and friendly, and is one of the best hosts we've ever had. He gave us tips for the island and a level of assistance like I've never seen before. We met his wife only briefly, but she was lovely as well. If you're looking for somewhere to stay on the island, look no further!"
