"The location was fantastic. Just about a 10 minute walk to the Duomo. Not far from everything you'll need. There are both a Conad and Carrefor within 5-10 minutes walking. Great Indian food just around the corner at Royal India."

"The space was quite small and difficult to move around in. The kitchen was just inconvenient, but reasonably this is what I expect from an old building. There was a leak in the bathroom out of the bottom of the toilet that would flood the bathroom every night."

"The location was nicely located near the main train station and many restaurants. The host was helpful with check-in and walked us through the whole process. The kitchen and downstairs area was well-decorated and comfortable. The upstairs bedroom had many extra blankets, comforters, and pillows if guests needed them."

"The apartment is located on the third floor of the building (which is the fourth floor if you count the ground floor as well) with no elevator. The air conditioning wasn't on when we arrived and the room was so hot that the bed radiated up heat as we tried to sleep the first night. Our biggest issue was that the electricity for the apartment only worked when you put a key in the lightswitch plate. This key was connected to the one that opened/closed the front door, so there was no AC when you left the apartment for the day. We visited during the heatwave, so having absolutely no AC on as we explored the city all day made the apartment agonizingly hot. It took hours to bring the apartment up to a tolerable temperature, which made getting to sleep at night very difficult"

"Very near the station, air conditioning was great for the hot summer and we were able to wash our clothing very easily."

"The bathroom wasn’t cleaned, previous guest left things that were still there and the sink had makeup and toothpaste stains."

"The location was wonderful - just 2 short blocks from the main train station (S.M. Novella) and close to everything we wanted to see again. This was likely our last trip to Florence, as we are 76 and 80 years old - but it was a great trip traveling around Italy, visiting all of our favorite spots again. Only 2 days in Florence, but our last visit we spent two weeks there - so this was just a "walk down memory lane" for us, and then we moved on to some of our OTHER favorite spots. The nice thing about this apartment was that it was on the ground floor - so no steps for these old folks for a change!"

"A cozy place equipped for cooking to save some money. Had no problem staying there for a few nights two older kids and both parents. The location is great for everything in Florence, Plus it's near the train station."

"The self check in was great and super easy. The location is superb, easily walkable to most of the attractions. The room is obviously older but is kept up and very clean. Overall, I was very happy with the room."

"The ad clearly stated there would be a washing machine and there was not. That was the selling point for me in being able to do a load of clothes and not pack so much on the trip."

"The location was great, lovely little bakery right down the street, with amazing fresh pastries every morning. Within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Quiet, well equipped kitchenette."

"It's on the top floor with no lift so it was a hike up the stairs but only felt like a big deal since we were walking all day. The electric is turned off when you leave the apartment which means it's warm when you come back but the air conditioner does do a quick job of cooling things down. Shower stall was a bit small, fine for us since we are on the slight side but could be a problem for a talker, larger person."
