"A lovely island of peace and tranquility in an otherwise busy Moroni. If it’s available on your dates, you’re in luck—don’t hesitate. This is by far the best you can get in this price category in the area. It’s a family-run guesthouse, and the owners do a great job maintaining a high standard, with uninterrupted water, electricity, and internet, which is not a given on the island. The décor is very attractive, especially in the restaurant area—you’ll be amazed."

"Right from the booking, the owner was proactive in ensuring a smooth stay. He was in constant contact with me through text, which was very helpful given that on the day of arrival, my flight was delayed, which meant getting in after midnight. Nevertheless, the owner was able to arrange a taxi from the airport and have somebody on site to give us access to the room. Once there, the owner's wife was accommodating, friendly, and engaging. Indeed, the stay felt like a home away from home. Moreover, the La Dhow Cafe on site is a gem. The decor and ambiance are wonderful. I, for one, really enjoyed eating at the restaurant. I highly recommend the hotel."

"The place is beautiful. It must have been hard to put together such a beautiful hotel in Comoros where infrastructure is generally a bit lacking. The host and the staff were also very friendly and nice. They did their best to ensure I had a pleasant stay, towards the end when I was running a bit low on local currency for my meal, the host just waived it off (which I was so grateful for I ended up more than making up for it in USD for my final meal, but to me, it's not about the money, kindness goes a long way). Comoros isn't an easy place for tourists, but Le Dhow made the most out of it. When I think about what I enjoyed the most about Comoros, it was probably Le Dhow, which goes to show what a great hotel it is."
