"Elise and her dad went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. Unit very clean and modern. They would come and clean the room with new linen and take out the trash. They even did my laundry before returning home. The monkeys would come on a daily basis adding to the adventure. Very close to the beach and can hear the waves pounding. Also have surf lessons available and either a golf cart or scooter rentals very close by. We saw allot of local wild life as well. They can also arrange a pick up to and from the airport. Highly recommended! They even have a parrot that talks. 🤙🏼🏄🏽‍♂️😎"

Not much to be honest, TV would have been nice for the evenings. No AC but didn’t need it during the wet season. Dont know about the summer months.

"Very convenient location close to the airport. The hosts are genuinely lovely, super responsive, and always do their best to help with anything you need. The AC works well which is a thing in Solomon Islands. There is a laundry service available, and overall the place feels comfortable and easy."

It’s quite far from town, so not ideal if you want to go out or explore often. But if you prefer to stay near the airport, it’s a great choice.

"Perfectly placed, near the brewery-restaurant and the castle, it offered comfortable, clean and home-like accommodations, right down to a friendly orange kitty, who played with us while we watched the sunset from a comfortable chair in the quiet back yard. Our host was attentive and helpful. Highly recommended!"

Unfortunately we lost electrical power due to a wind storm for several hours though this was regional and not the fault of the cabin.

no signboard outside the building to locate it; 2ndly only 2 pillows were there on a large double bed, so I will suggest to add 2 more to it.

The staircase gaurd in the townhouse was made of glass that didn't feel secure.

Nothing to add, everything went smoothly.

"Perfectly located in the small town of Matmata. The room was big with two bedrooms and a lounge. It had a restaurant but didn’t serve alcohol. We could park the car off the road. It was inexpensive so we didn’t expect much, but were pleasantly surprised."

The room was a bit cold (it was January) but the owner went out of his way to help us with everything we needed. There wasn’t much to dislike

quite a distance from city (we had a hire car, so no big issue for us)

Not enough time to enjoy more.

"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . Ps look after Max well we will return ."

Genuine village stay

"The apartment has everything that we need,like stove and washer. Walkable distance to shops, restaurants and sightseeing areas. Metro is also close by."

Nothing much to complain

"Our family really enjoyed staying at the cabin and looking at the lake across the lake and the mountains."

Would have liked to have instructions on using the washer and dryer. The stovetop sensor kept beeping and needed a fuse reset. Parking was bit challenging on the steep lawn which needed to be mowed.
