"I would suggest to have more options for vegetarian food"

"Wonderful and accommodating staff. Great breakfast. Tropical gardens surrounding the hotel. Indian Ocean views."
"The swimming pool is not filtered ( at least, that's what I think) with murky water and oily film floating on the surface. The furniture is old and stained. Walls are stained and peeling from water damage. In general, the hotel started showing its age and would benefit from new paint and some patching."
"Very good staff, amazing view and the location is very close to the airport."

"The bed room is spacious and clean, the bed comfy. The breakfast had a good variety of food, crepes, eggs, fresh pastry, fruits, milk, coffee, tea, etc. Dinner self-service is also good. The hotel has a quick response to variations of city electricity supply, and never was more than a few seconds without electricity. Air conditioning works well. The personnel is very kind and helpful."
"The cleaning of the bathroom was not very good, but being already aware, is possible to minimize the inconvenient. Good to have your flip-flops with you... Internet is not fantastic, and depends on the hours of the day."
"During our stay, my wife fell ill. Diagnosed with severe malaria, she was transferred from the over-worked Moroni public hospital to a private clinic (at the hotel’s initiative). Over the next week, the Retaj’s staff treated us both as family and could not have been more helpful."
"The pool was often closed to guests"
"The breakfast is good and there is a restaurant to have lunch and dinner. Staff speaks english and they are helpful. Our room was quite big. There is a gym and pool area. The hotel is in a walking distance from the old town, but not really close. They accept euros. Wifi works. They can arrange a pick up from the airport."
"The pool area is nice, but you can't really swim in the pool because the water in it is really dirty. The rooms are big, but not in the best shape anymore. The pick up from the airport is pretty expensive."
"I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was quite spacious and clean, with a great view across the gardens to the sea. The aircon was very welcome after the hot days. The food in the restaurant was pretty good. There was a dinner buffet for €11 , which included a huge tasty fish ; or pizzas for around €5. Breakfast had a fair selection and was sufficient. The location is 2 km from the centre, but the access street has a few local shops, eateries and even a bar (which is good for takeaway as the hotel is alcohol free) . The gardens and pool area are beautifully kept with access down to the sea."
"The bathroom needed a renovation, but was functional The pool looked too murky to make me want to swim. Airport transfer is €30 each way."
"Well-equipped, stylish rooms. Nice balcony. Very good breakfast. Great location."
"Poor WiFi No alcohol license No bottled water provided in my room (though I was told this was an oversight)."

Avis de Peter Hotel Le Sultan
"The menu did not offer a wide variety, but the quality of the dishes was excellent and very affordable."
Avis de Jérémie Hotel Jardin de la Paix
"Property is a little dilapidated in some places but that’s to be expected in Comoros. The staff were generally helpful."
Avis de Eric Mohéli Vanilla Lodge
"The property has a very low ranking; therefore, I was suspicious regarding what to expect before the stay. However, almost everything was OK. I booked the best room and its is fully OK. The property responded to my questions very fast. The manager/ owner was very helpful. Dinner - not much choice, but very tasty (just bit too expensive). Nice small beach."
Avis de Juraj Al Camar Lodge
"Loved being in my own private forest. Mickey who was taking care of the place was great. Totally natural off the grid kind of place. Great views from my room through the forest to the ocean."
Avis de Borach Le A, Trou du Prophète
"Comfortable but basic room. Hot water in the shower. Wifi worked surprisingly well. Staff was very helpful, Ayed helped me with all of my questions and assisted me to find a sim card. Breakfast was very good, lots of options, including eggs, yoghurt, fruit, tea, and juice."
Avis de Peter Hôtel La Grillade
"A lovely island of peace and tranquility in an otherwise busy Moroni. If it’s available on your dates, you’re in luck—don’t hesitate. This is by far the best you can get in this price category in the area. It’s a family-run guesthouse, and the owners do a great job maintaining a high standard, with uninterrupted water, electricity, and internet, which is not a given on the island. The décor is very attractive, especially in the restaurant area—you’ll be amazed."
