"Wonderful staff from check in to check out. The breakfast was also a highlight of each morning. The location is also perfect for Luang Prabang, and there are tons of restaurant options walking distance from the hotel"

"The property is beautiful and carefully renovated. The size of our room was perfect and the breakfast was excellent!"
"Noise was coming from the street and the shutters weren’t able to block that, but this is to be expected."
"Fantastic location. Max, at the front desk, was a shining star: friendly, kind, efficient and professional. All services were excellent."
"The bed was not comfortable."
"Serene, beautifully designed hotel in a gorgeous setting on the riverfront of the old town. Walk to everything. Pristine room and gorgeously soft sheets. Helpful staff (thank you Loom and Christopher!). Delicious breakfast on the verandah. Lots of good restaurants nearby (we loved Lost in Baan for high-end fusion, Nang Tao for simple noodle soup)."
"Occasional noise at night (gongs, etc!) but whir of excellent fan provided and/or earplugs resolve this."
"The location was excellent - close to everything. Quiet, clean & comfortable room. Breakfast was delicious. Host was outstanding & arranged some great tours for me."

"Breakfast was included and outstanding! Staff were great, very helpful, also assisted with organizing transportation. The main attraction of the towen, the alms-giving ceremony, as well as the temples, are right by the hotel. Get up at 5am and go see it, respectfully."
"The location was a bit noisy during the day, mostly due to work being done to stabilize the river. However, that is a temporary nuisance, and it got very quiet when it mattered, at night."
"Good location for walking. Staff were very nice. Breakfast was tasty."
"It's an old building with squeaky floors. Room was rather dark and the lighting inside was minimal."
"Everything was clean, excellent Employees, perfect breakfast, downtown."
"nothing"
"The staff and managers are so kind and welcoming. The room was comfortable and very clean. The location was perfect- right in the heart of the old town. Though it was incredibly hot while we were visiting in June, being right in the center of town made it easy to return to our room at the hottest parts of the day. We watched the alms giving several times as it was literally a two minute walk to the Main Street. Though the street could be a little noisy with traffic, occasionally, it was never a problem, and in fact it was fun people watching from our ( little) balcony."

"Excellent location beside 2 of the best restaurants, across the street from River, one block from Main Street. Comfortable, quite room. Good breakfast, very friendly, helpful staff."

"Note: This is my second (glowing) review for Mabuhay Guest House. As I was waiting for my visa process to complete at the nearby embassy, I kept extending my stay with Ms. Sara. The price, location, and overall value are what initially caught my attention. But what makes staying at Mabuhay really great is the host! Ms. Sara is one of the nicest/most genuine people I've ever met. During my stay, she was able to help me solve numerous travel-related issues. She definitely didn't need to help me, but that's just the type of person she is... And while I'm not particularly social when I travel, it wasn't long before I was hanging out downstairs with Ms Sara and the other guests, with a cold beverage, talking about a wide range of topics. I really hope the best for Ms Sara's business and family. And I genuinely appreciate the hospitality."
"This was an interesting hostel to stay at in a private room that was quiet (thanks to some soundproofing), and my room was cool with a loft bed over an area with a nice desk (I work remotely) and ample closet space. Great location just minutes from the night market and other sights. I spent most of my time here just walking around and exploring the city. Nice breakfast!"
