"The room is big and comfy, breakfast is ok, the location is great, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall is impressive!"
"Nothing."
"truly an oasis, clean rooms and very comfy beds. beautiful property with a nice breakfast as well."
"only thing is there were a lot of mosquitoes that were in our room, even with being very careful and not leaving the door open. other than that, everything was amazing!"
"I really enjoyed the hotel. The grounds were beautiful, the room was incredible, and the location was excellent. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure you had a great stay."
"The wifi was a bit hit or miss."
"We had a great stay in this very central location. It allowed us to explore almost all of Luang Prabang by foot which was fantastic. As others have said, do not be intimidated by the alley you have to walk down before reaching the hotel. Being off the main road allows for a lovely, tranquil atmosphere. When the staff saw that it was myself and my two sons they very kindly upgraded us to a larger family room. It was so spacious and clean with a great bathroom. Importantly it also had a lovely balcony where we all enjoyed sitting at the end of the day. Breakfast was very good and the boys enjoyed the pancakes especially. It seems that any construction is now complete as we weren't bothered by any noise or work."
"A very small detail - it would be great to have a refillable water station in the lobby area."
"A very comfortable and peaceful property. Our room was lovely, overlooking the koi pond."
"Can’t think of anything."
"nice rooms, pretty breakfast area. good location but private"
"bugs at night (can’t change that especially with the water)"
"Nice rooms, very beautiful garden with a small pond, good location. Staff were very kind and helpful."
"You could see it's a new hotel with new staff, sometimes people were overwhelmed with the amount of guests, especially during breakfast. Everybody tried their best though."
"We had lovely rooms overlooking the pond. The hotel has a peaceful location - it is nice and quiet in the middle of busy Luang Prabang (though we couldn’t completely get away from loud karaoke which was happening next door)."
"Aucun."
"It was a nice cozy place to stay. Relaxing and walkable distance to main streets. The staffs were also kind."
"When I first arrived, the sofa was not cleaned with someone else’s tissues on it. However, the staff kindly had it cleaned while I was out for dinner so not a big deal."
"The staffs are absolutely friendly and helpful. They perform their duty with the smile and great hospitality manner. I would definitely come back to stay at Villa Oasis again."
"There were some construction site nearby thats starting their work from 07:30 AM, could be noisy."

"Note: This is my second (glowing) review for Mabuhay Guest House. As I was waiting for my visa process to complete at the nearby embassy, I kept extending my stay with Ms. Sara. The price, location, and overall value are what initially caught my attention. But what makes staying at Mabuhay really great is the host! Ms. Sara is one of the nicest/most genuine people I've ever met. During my stay, she was able to help me solve numerous travel-related issues. She definitely didn't need to help me, but that's just the type of person she is... And while I'm not particularly social when I travel, it wasn't long before I was hanging out downstairs with Ms Sara and the other guests, with a cold beverage, talking about a wide range of topics. I really hope the best for Ms Sara's business and family. And I genuinely appreciate the hospitality."
"This was an interesting hostel to stay at in a private room that was quiet (thanks to some soundproofing), and my room was cool with a loft bed over an area with a nice desk (I work remotely) and ample closet space. Great location just minutes from the night market and other sights. I spent most of my time here just walking around and exploring the city. Nice breakfast!"
