"Top location, very good breakfast. Nice room, cool rooftop area. The kitchen is not fancy but has all the basics for preparing your own meals. Thanks Hassan for the hospitality, even if we were a bit lost in translation"
"Would be nice to have a common area with couches"
"We had a very amazing time staying in Aziz's place right at the border of M'Hamid and the desert. He welcomed us with a lovely vegetarian dinner. The next day we went on a 2 day desert trip that he organised for us. It was a memorable experience! Walking, riding camels, driving in a 4x4, right into what felt like the deep desert. A very authentic experience, lovely company, incredible scenery. Thanks, Aziz and Hassan for making this trip a wonderful experience for all the family. I don´t usually write reviews but I feel the experience that we had was so good that people should not miss on the experience My kids can´t wait to go to the dessert and repeat!! Highly recommended!"

"We had a wonderful time with Aziz and Hassan. The riad is very authentic as well as the atmosphere. Hassan prepared a lovely breakfast every day and even dinner if you want. Aziz is a very pleasant guide who can show you a lot about the desert."

"Original mudbuilt riad on the very edge of the Sahara desert....with hot water and WiFi...Nice breakfast and great evening meal....you can sleep on the roof under the desert sky if you wish.."

"We had an amazing stay with Aziz and Hassan, Aziz picked us up from the bus stop when we arrived late and Hassan prepared us a fantastic dinner as we hadn’t eaten all day! The room was lovely, we stayed in summer (mid July) so they prepared us a bed on the terrace for the breeze which was great. Aziz runs tours in the desert so you can plan everything with him, he speaks great English which made communication very easy."

"Aziz and his brother Hassan took great care of us. Hassan made our stay at the basic riad comfortable. Aziz arranged a great excursion for us to Erg Chegaga. Azis can arrange everything for you: dromedaris rides /(multi-day) hikes / support vehicle for motorcycle exploration through dunes with bivac and fuel. I even think Aziz could arrange a Sahara sky dive for you! Please mind that the Riad is authentic straw/clay build and a basic accomodation with shared bathroom and toilet. Please do not expect marble bathroom decoration. Do expect a CLEAN accomodation as Hassan made sure everything is clean and the food is good."

"It was ok for the price (of season 13 euro) at night. Breakfast was good and pick up in busstation"
"Plugs in room did not work and also shower outside room since no warm water in room. Not the best place to hire a tour, since they want a lot (and you often want to book through accomodation and they also wanted you to do that)"
"Wonderful riad facing the desert. Aziz and Hassan will make you feel at home with their kindness and desire to share authentic stories from the Sahara. Highly recommended!"

"I needed a place to stay on my way through and this fit the bill. Happy to have stayed there. The staff was especially helpful."
Paul Hotel Palace Zaida
"Amazing camp accessible by car. We only had front-wheel drive Dacia, so it was a bit difficult to get there. If you go, lease a 4x4 for sure. We only wanted a day trip on camels, so we arrived by car. There are many camps that you can visit on a multi-day trip on camels deeper in the desert, however, if you only want a day trip on camels and have car, this is a must-visit. Personnel superb, food superb Bathroom facilities better than most hotels, in the tent (available outside of tent as well - they have public bathrooms) They booked a day trip on camels. We wanted to try this limited version before going on a multiple day trip on camels. I suggest telling them that you don't want to spend 4h on the lunch break. It's too long. 2h of break is enough. You go about 2h on camels' backs and then back after lunch. This camp was top 2 experiences we had in morocco. If you want larger and more iconic sand dunes, visit Merzouga. The dunes here are small, yet beautiful"

"Basic accommodation and cheaper than others. Room was clean, staff were excellent and it is in a central location. Would highly recommend"
"Basic but comfortable, lovely dinner and helpful staff"
"Ali and his family were welcoming and sharing, offering us amazing hospitality. The camp area was a wonderful oasis with a flowing, and swimmable river, complete with various birds, and fresh water fish. It was truly an escape from our travels."

"The guys in the reception were really nice with me and they try to help me with everything. The location is real good next to todgha gorges. The showers were cold and the guy said that they are normally hot but I think it’s something normal there. The breakfast was good"

"Faisal, the owner was very hospitable and eager to help us get around the gorge. The guest house itself was very quaint and we felt very safe. We were even invited to Iftar!"
"We had to spend one night in Tinghir on our way to Merzouga, and the stay was very good for the purpose. Nice clean rooms, good facilities, the owners/ stuff are very helpful. Location is very close to the bus stop, so it was perfect."
