"Our room made all the difference. Top floor queen bed with private bath communal outdoor sitting area with beach views. Rooftop beach views. Communal kitchen. This is by western standards a 2-3 star motel. The price reflects this as well as the overall accommodation-but you cannot beat the value. We stayed for 3 weeks. The owners are great folks and it is family owned and operated. It is boutique so very few people at any time so the privacy was nice and it is quiet. The beach front restaurant next to the Beach House is outstanding. Because we cooked most of our meals the local food stalls and markets and Medina and souks wow all I can say this is an amazing experience."

"Good family run guesthouse, with an excellent terrace overlooking the Atlantic ans ideal for sunset. Good location and easy to find by the side of the Medina. kitchen available to use and local shops nearby. Comfy beds with towels provided for free. Great value for money. I was here over Ramadan and stayed for a week. I was made to feel at home by the owner and his lovely.family. highly recommended"

"Hostel was just outside Medina Wall(6 minutes from main gate). I arrived in rain by bicycle and host hostel family brought me towels then shared with me warm food. Hostel has a kitchen and refrigerator. And a nice beachfront restaurant is 5 meters from Beach Hostel’s door. Asilan impressed me as a small walled city."

"Nice, little room with a private bathroom/shower (they mostly do single wet-rooms in Morocco). There’s a lovely restaurant by the beach just at the back where you could meet up with the host if you have trouble finding it. The lady who runs it speaks excellent English and is very responsive."

"Amazing camp accessible by car. We only had front-wheel drive Dacia, so it was a bit difficult to get there. If you go, lease a 4x4 for sure. We only wanted a day trip on camels, so we arrived by car. There are many camps that you can visit on a multi-day trip on camels deeper in the desert, however, if you only want a day trip on camels and have car, this is a must-visit. Personnel superb, food superb Bathroom facilities better than most hotels, in the tent (available outside of tent as well - they have public bathrooms) They booked a day trip on camels. We wanted to try this limited version before going on a multiple day trip on camels. I suggest telling them that you don't want to spend 4h on the lunch break. It's too long. 2h of break is enough. You go about 2h on camels' backs and then back after lunch. This camp was top 2 experiences we had in morocco. If you want larger and more iconic sand dunes, visit Merzouga. The dunes here are small, yet beautiful"
