"There were absolutely wonderful, informative, and pleasant to talk to. When above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions."

"My stay at Dar Settash was exactly as I hoped it would feel - comfortable and right at home. The room was spacious and the beds were so comfy. The hospitality was unmatched. Rida and Fatima and the whole crew were beyond accommodating. They went out of their way to provide us with fresh Moroccan breakfast treats! I truly miss them and I can’t wait to visit them again. The location was also perfect. I highly recommend this property!"

"Reda, Fatima and the entire staff of Dar Settash are extremely kind and helpful people. Upon arrival to the Fes Medina, they will escort you to reach the riad. If you are new to Fes, they can give you lots of valuable advice and tips about what to do/see. The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are lovely, and the riad has a great rooftop terrace with a fantastic view of the Medina. This place is a great choice if visting Fes!"

"This was a magical experience of staying in a beautiful traditional Moroccan house that was also very comfortable. The room was huge and had everything one would need, with breathtaking decorations on the ceiling and on the windows. The bathroom had a bathtub, and there was even a small private kitchen. The hosts prepared really nice breakfast and asked us for our preferences to adjust the selection of food. We were also greeted nicely upon arrival and thoroughly instructed on how to navigate around Medina and what restaurants to try. There is a fantastic rooftop terrace that is a great place to have some mint tea. The location is superb, very quiet and, at the same time, right in the centre of everything. Warmly recommended!"
"Nothing really"

"Fatima was very responsive to my emails prior to my arrival. She arranged for a taxi to pick me up at the airport. The Dar is situated right at the heart of the medina. Fatima's husband welcomed me at the entrance/gate of the medina where the taxi dropped me off. He also walked me there to wait for the taxi to the airport. I ate all my meals at the Dar. The portions were very generous for 1 person so I would generally eat my meal in 2 seats (lunch and dinner). The room was comfortable and was equipped with an air conditioner. I had a lovely time doing the cooking class on the roof with Fatima and her grandmother. Fatima's husband gave me good recommendations regarding places to visit, restaurants, the price range to expect when shopping, how to minimize scams- you can't avoid them completely. Fatima and her husband were very flexible and accommodating, they tried their best to arrange the activities around my preferred schedule."
"Flimsy internet access in my room. But I think it was my internet provider Orange as I had problems with the 4G too."
"Hosts Fatima and Radha are amazing people. Incredibly helpful. Radha met us at the taxi stand with a man and a cart for our luggage. He walked us through the windy alleys to the Dar. Fatima is a lovely person like her husband, and she helped direct us to a reputable rug seller, suggested restaurants to go to and things to see. They arranged for a tour guide which I would recommend. The Dar is a beautiful old world family home in the middle of the medina. The location is perfect! A couple of easy turns and you will be on one of the two main streets. It's easy to find your way back day or night. The bedroom was very comfortable, with high ceilings and tile details. Excellent breakfast! The rooftop deck had nice views! Fatima hosts cooking classes there and it could not have been better. Fatima's Grandmother cooked a delicious authentic Moroccan dinner for us on our first night. Overall, I would recommend Dar Settash for many reasons, but mostly because of Fatima and Radha."

"This place felt like a palace, with its beautiful architecture, but at the same time it is as cozy as a home. Everyone was so kind and took care of all my concerns, including pickup and drop-off. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful. Thank goodness for the laundry service because I really needed it. The location is perfect, right in the medina and walking distance to basically everything. Also, the view from the rooftop is amazing."
"Everything was great!"

"I needed a place to stay on my way through and this fit the bill. Happy to have stayed there. The staff was especially helpful."

"Amazing camp accessible by car. We only had front-wheel drive Dacia, so it was a bit difficult to get there. If you go, lease a 4x4 for sure. We only wanted a day trip on camels, so we arrived by car. There are many camps that you can visit on a multi-day trip on camels deeper in the desert, however, if you only want a day trip on camels and have car, this is a must-visit. Personnel superb, food superb Bathroom facilities better than most hotels, in the tent (available outside of tent as well - they have public bathrooms) They booked a day trip on camels. We wanted to try this limited version before going on a multiple day trip on camels. I suggest telling them that you don't want to spend 4h on the lunch break. It's too long. 2h of break is enough. You go about 2h on camels' backs and then back after lunch. This camp was top 2 experiences we had in morocco. If you want larger and more iconic sand dunes, visit Merzouga. The dunes here are small, yet beautiful"

"Ali and his family were welcoming and sharing, offering us amazing hospitality. The camp area was a wonderful oasis with a flowing, and swimmable river, complete with various birds, and fresh water fish. It was truly an escape from our travels."

"Easy to find on foot as it’s not far from an entrance gate. The breakfast on the rooftop is good and the view from there is excellent. We appreciated being served tea upon our arrival in the evening."

"Loved the location. We were very close to everything in the medina. The restaurants nearby were also very good. Larbi was very efficient and punctual and helped us settle in. The view from the balcony was amazing. The house is very tiny with spiraling steps which is fun but can be hard for anyone with mobility issues."
