Guest reviews for Riad Basma Marrakech
"We had a great 3 night stay at Riad Basma. Ali was very responsive, kind and helpful. The rooms were cozy and full of character, the bed was firm but comfortable. Breakfast was simple. The location was fantastic and central, but quiet enough to sleep. Great value for a comfortable stay."
"The bathroom amenities were somewhat lacking. There was no shower gel, the towels were rough and the hair dryer in our room barely worked. But these weren't dealbreakers for us."
"Very close to jamaa fenna, you don’t lose your way. The place vey calm, the stuff very warm."
"No AC, I was asked to pay more for a room with AC. I found a fan with a sound of a helicopter. I hope they add a bidet or any water based cleaning in the toilette."
"Incredibly kind host, great location, and beautiful accommodations. Such a lovely experience."

"The bed was extremely hard. Our room did not get internet, had to go to common area."
"This Riad is located in a quiet side street in the Medina, beautifully decorated. A delightful breakfast was served on the rooftop. Ali, our host on site, was very helpful and entertaining. He helped with advice on sightseeing and restaurant."

"The location was perfect. So close to everything. The breakfast was great too, really good value for money. The riad’s design was very aesthetically pleasing. It felt like we were getting an authentic local hotel experience."
"The wifi is alright in the courtyard but doesn’t work in the rooms. The wall’s were quite thin. Sound travels very easily so I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you get woken up easily. But I’m not sure if this is a common situation in most Riad’s in Morocco."
"Authentic riad experience in the Medina. The riad staff were helpful and accommodating. Great value, i have no complaints with the Riad."
"The Derb does not have a name, so I missed it the first few times."

"This stay in the Ziz valley felt extremely authentic and was a perfect way to end our time in this area of Morocco. Great location to stay for flights in and out of Errichidia. Hami and his family were excellent hosts and we loved our time talking, having tea, and enjoying the best tangine we had in Morocco!"

"We had a lovely stay with my wife and our two kids. The place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing as a family. The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious – fresh, generous, and the best way to start the day with that amazing view and the old village. Highly recommended!"

"I had a wonderful experience in the desert. I stayed in a bivouac room, which was beautiful and comfortable in the middle of nature. Everything was clean, well organized, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Mr. Mubarak and his team were amazing—very kind, welcoming, and hospitable. They really made sure we had a great stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay at “Kasbah du Bout”. The host was very friendly and made sure our needs were met. The Kasbah was very clean and well kept. We experienced a relaxing atmosphere and stay. We recommend staying here when visiting Zagora. Fred K. United States."
"Amazing camp accessible by car. We only had front-wheel drive Dacia, so it was a bit difficult to get there. If you go, lease a 4x4 for sure. We only wanted a day trip on camels, so we arrived by car. There are many camps that you can visit on a multi-day trip on camels deeper in the desert, however, if you only want a day trip on camels and have car, this is a must-visit. Personnel superb, food superb Bathroom facilities better than most hotels, in the tent (available outside of tent as well - they have public bathrooms) They booked a day trip on camels. We wanted to try this limited version before going on a multiple day trip on camels. I suggest telling them that you don't want to spend 4h on the lunch break. It's too long. 2h of break is enough. You go about 2h on camels' backs and then back after lunch. This camp was top 2 experiences we had in morocco. If you want larger and more iconic sand dunes, visit Merzouga. The dunes here are small, yet beautiful"
