Guest reviews for Riad Diwane
"I spent two nights at Riad Diwane and had an amazing experience. The hosting family was incredibly warm and welcoming, their hospitality truly made me feel at home. The food was delicious and authentic, and the portions were generous. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The view from the terrace and dining room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the Ouirgane Barrage and the surrounding mountains. At night, the ambiance is magical with the beautifully lit pool and various cozy corners around the house. There’s a lovely small garden that adds a refreshing green touch everywhere you look. Parking was easy, with spots available just near the riad, and there are several restaurants just a 5-minute walk away. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay in the Ouirgane area."

"How difficult it is to get there"
"Wonderful host, great cook, outstanding location in the middle of mountains with views. Our room was spacious, cool, and comfortable - even though there was no air conditioning. Pool was refreshing after a wonderful arranged guided hike through the surrounding villages by our host. We enjoyed spending time interacting with the friendly family. Free parking on street. Heads up if you are a light sleeper, there is a mosque next door but as I used ear lugs it wasn't an issue."

"Close to the main road but far enough not to hear noise from it. Great relaxing area including swimming pool, area outside rooms and rooftop. Spacious room and bathroom. Room nicely decorated. Very clean. Good food ( we had dinner and lunch). Very helpful host - advising hikes to make."

"We loved the location and our host was so kind, thoughtful and helpful. He even arranged two fun and interesting guided walks for us. He was also an excellent chef! Considering the terrible damage caused by last year’s earthquake the Riad was in excellent condition and surely will improve even more in the coming year."
"We liked everything."
"Beautiful place to relax with spectacular view of the reservoir. The hosts were so accommodating and friendly, preparing a fantastic dinner for us and providing us with a hike and a mule ride for the children. An excellent place to stay!"
"It was all great, nothing negative"
"Beautiful views with a dining room that overlooked the lake and mountain. Roaring fire in the evenings. Amazing guided tour. Delicious home cooked meals. Would recommend to anyone."
"Everything was great"

"This locally family run riad is a gem. It’s like staying at your aunt’s place. The room is massive and beautifully decorated. This is a place to rest, contemplate and chill. There is nothing much to do here other than sitting on the rooftop terrace and enjoy the view of the lake. At night you’ll see thousand of stars. You can go for a walk around the lake and stop by the cafe opposite on the main road for a cup of nous nous. The food here is amazing. We had breakfast and dinners here during our stay and the lamb tagine was super. The service is very friendly but not intrusive."
"As we stayed in December, it was cold at night. The only heating is from the fireplace. So the room got a bit smokey at night."

"This stay in the Ziz valley felt extremely authentic and was a perfect way to end our time in this area of Morocco. Great location to stay for flights in and out of Errichidia. Hami and his family were excellent hosts and we loved our time talking, having tea, and enjoying the best tangine we had in Morocco!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at “Kasbah du Bout”. The host was very friendly and made sure our needs were met. The Kasbah was very clean and well kept. We experienced a relaxing atmosphere and stay. We recommend staying here when visiting Zagora. Fred K. United States."
"Amazing camp accessible by car. We only had front-wheel drive Dacia, so it was a bit difficult to get there. If you go, lease a 4x4 for sure. We only wanted a day trip on camels, so we arrived by car. There are many camps that you can visit on a multi-day trip on camels deeper in the desert, however, if you only want a day trip on camels and have car, this is a must-visit. Personnel superb, food superb Bathroom facilities better than most hotels, in the tent (available outside of tent as well - they have public bathrooms) They booked a day trip on camels. We wanted to try this limited version before going on a multiple day trip on camels. I suggest telling them that you don't want to spend 4h on the lunch break. It's too long. 2h of break is enough. You go about 2h on camels' backs and then back after lunch. This camp was top 2 experiences we had in morocco. If you want larger and more iconic sand dunes, visit Merzouga. The dunes here are small, yet beautiful"
