Guest reviews for Riad El Bacha

"Central location and the host was very kind and helped us throughout the entire stay"

"The building and the common areas were quite cold (but the room has a heater)"

"Said's service was excellent; he was always willing to help and had a smile. He booked us a transfer service to and from the airport. We arrived at midnight and he was waiting for us at the pick-up location. He printed our boarding pass because online check-in doesn't work at Fes airport. Breakfast on the terrace was fantastic: being able to have a peaceful breakfast with views of the Medina is well worth it. The place is located within the old Medina; it seems a little confusing at first, but you quickly learn how to navigate it."

"There are no toiletries and the beds aren't made every day. Fresh towels should be provided daily. The noise from the mosque calling to prayer at 5 a.m. is a bit annoying."

"Great breakfast, perfect location and price-quality ratio. Said is a super host!"

"Located on the edge of the medina. Easy to find. Sahid and Sahid were so kind and helpful. We need a room with heat since it was cold. They immediately brought in a man to fix the heater. They arranged good day trips for us."

"The room was dark due to low wattage light bulbs but maybe that is true in all Riads."

"Everything about Riad el Bacha is outstanding. It is, by far, the best guest house I have ever been to. The place is right in the Medina area, so the location couldn't be better. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, with everything you may need to enjoy your stay and relax after visiting the city. And there's more... The riad has a huge and lovely terrace. One of the best memories I have from my trip to Morocco is having breakfast there while enjoying the view of the city. And by the way, breakfast is abundant and tasty, traditional style. However, what I would highlight the most about the place is how caring, helpful and kind the owner is. My father and I are incredibly grateful for everything he helped us with. Have zero doubts, if available, enjoy your stay at Riad el Bacha! Promise you won't regret it!"

"The service at the riad was the best I have experienced in my solo adventure in Morocco. I was intimidated by Fez due to the size of the medina and it was during Ramadan, but with the help from the riad, I was provided superb advice what to do and how to navigate myself in the medina. We even shared a great Ramadan breakfast together. The Riad has a breathtaking panoramic view of the majestic medina of Fez and u can have your breakfast there every morning."

"There isn't anything that is bad here."

"My stay at Riad El Bacha was truly exceptional, and the owner deserves special praise for his kindness and constant willingness to help at any time. His warm hospitality made me feel welcomed and cared for from the very first moment. It is clear that the staff put their heart and soul into their work, and their dedication to maintaining such a beautiful and well-run riad is visible in every detail. Thank you for everything — if I ever return to Fez, this will be the only place I choose to stay."

"The location was great, just on three minutes walk from the main square and right in the Medina. Staff was really friendly and amazing. They even let us use their kitchen and provided detailed guidance on how to nevigate through the city and what to do while we were there."

"This stay in the Ziz valley felt extremely authentic and was a perfect way to end our time in this area of Morocco. Great location to stay for flights in and out of Errichidia. Hami and his family were excellent hosts and we loved our time talking, having tea, and enjoying the best tangine we had in Morocco!"

"I needed a place to stay on my way through and this fit the bill. Happy to have stayed there. The staff was especially helpful."

"Quiet location, garbage to store the bicycles. Shared bathroom was clean and close to the room, which had its own sink. Good hot shower. Friendly owners."

"We had a lovely stay with my wife and our two kids. The place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing as a family. The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious – fresh, generous, and the best way to start the day with that amazing view and the old village. Highly recommended!"

"I had a wonderful experience in the desert. I stayed in a bivouac room, which was beautiful and comfortable in the middle of nature. Everything was clean, well organized, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Mr. Mubarak and his team were amazing—very kind, welcoming, and hospitable. They really made sure we had a great stay."

"Very generous Breakfast, location is great, quiet and tucked away yet easy walking to the main street. Very friendly and accommodating staff"

"We really enjoyed our stay at “Kasbah du Bout”. The host was very friendly and made sure our needs were met. The Kasbah was very clean and well kept. We experienced a relaxing atmosphere and stay. We recommend staying here when visiting Zagora. Fred K. United States."

"Amazing camp accessible by car. We only had front-wheel drive Dacia, so it was a bit difficult to get there. If you go, lease a 4x4 for sure. We only wanted a day trip on camels, so we arrived by car. There are many camps that you can visit on a multi-day trip on camels deeper in the desert, however, if you only want a day trip on camels and have car, this is a must-visit. Personnel superb, food superb Bathroom facilities better than most hotels, in the tent (available outside of tent as well - they have public bathrooms) They booked a day trip on camels. We wanted to try this limited version before going on a multiple day trip on camels. I suggest telling them that you don't want to spend 4h on the lunch break. It's too long. 2h of break is enough. You go about 2h on camels' backs and then back after lunch. This camp was top 2 experiences we had in morocco. If you want larger and more iconic sand dunes, visit Merzouga. The dunes here are small, yet beautiful"

"Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Delicious dinner."
