Guest reviews for Riad Hala
"Locates right in the medina. Short walk from the Blue Gate. Very convenient to reach. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is tasty."

"Kind people at the reception, very helpful, we arrived late at night/morning and they let us in and did the check-in process later, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, authentic riad vibes, close to some of main attractions"
"The lack of proper heating through the air conditioner that was also noisy, but that was only a small problem"
"Such a beautiful riad, very authentic! We had a big room, felt like a princess there ( the bed with baldachin, the traditional sofa, chair and the interior of the riad where you have breakfast). The Moroccan breakfast was good, enough to start the day. The view from the terrace is amazing, especially at night and you will feel the pulse of the Medina. I recommend it for an authentic experience. Very easy to find and the staff is nice and tries to help you with everything, giving you advice and info. We felt very local, very traditional and it is a must try if you want to experience the Moroccan atmosphere."
"The furniture is a bit old, the floor has some missing tiles and the bathroom was not our style (anyway it was clean). We had a visitor in the bathroom ( a big cockroach 😅), but I understand this might happen in Medina and in very old buildings. Anyway the staff was very nice and helpful. As a recommendation : liquid soap in a container in the bathroom (not a single use micro soap, very dry and useless). But for the price we got an authentic experience. There are better options there, but we are happy we stayed here because the riad is very traditional and you must experience living like a local! The room has only inside windows (nice view of the common space), you can't open the external windows."
"The service & hospitality by the host was top notch. He helped arrange an airport transfer for us, and helped bring our huge luggage from the taxi all the way to the room on the fifth floor! If that wasn't enough, we asked if we could drink tap water and he came by with a bottle of water which we paid him back for, but his kindness was 10/10! Breakfast was also enough to get us full, love trying the local delicacies. Since we were in the top room, we had the opportunity to use the terrace any time we wanted which was a great plus! Great value for money & perfect location reachable via car (5-minute walk from the blue gate so easy for excursions) yet situated in the Medina!"
"2 small things: The bed itself is quite hard. I'd recommend to sleep on top of the comforter and then use one of the blankets in the closet. Next, take note that it's really near a mosque and there are prayers every few hours starting at 6h. If you're a light sleeper and have difficulty going back to sleep, this might be a problem to you but we managed fine!"
"It is a beautiful, clean, very old Riad. The room was spacious & comfortable. Abdul was friendly & kind. He went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He agreed to serve us breakfast early so that we could get an early start. He even escorted us from the Riad to meet our ride so that we didn't get lost. 10+ customer service. A great value for the money. I would definitely recommend this Riad to family & friends."
"Bed & pillows are quite hard, which seems to be typical in Morocco."
"We had a great experience at this riad. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making sure everything went smoothly. The location is also a big plus — it's not too deep inside the Medina, which makes it easier to access while still being close enough to explore the main attractions."

"This stay in the Ziz valley felt extremely authentic and was a perfect way to end our time in this area of Morocco. Great location to stay for flights in and out of Errichidia. Hami and his family were excellent hosts and we loved our time talking, having tea, and enjoying the best tangine we had in Morocco!"
