Guest reviews for Riad Hidaya

"Tucked out of the way, like most of the Riad’s are, the interior courtyards are always a beautiful surprise. Comfortable and clean and not too far away from some of the main attractions."

"There are over 9000 alleyways and streets in Fez, some narrow and dark, so our first impression coming in at night was like being in a maze where you are immediately lost. But that’s part of the charm and by the second day we knew our way around. Our Guide told us that Google maps and Waze did not work in the labyrinth of the city. He was right. Pay attention when directions are given and you’ll be fine."

"We had a fantastic stay at Road Dar Hidaya. The staff is unbelievable and always available to help you with whatever you need or simply make some delicious mint tea. The location is excellent on a quiet street in the Medina but very close to all the major places to see. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Clean room, nice property. Mohammad and Hassan were great and very helpful"

"It's a little hard to get to, our taxi driver originally dropped us off at the far entrance to the Medina. It's easier to get to from the eastern side"

"Amazing and wonderfully friendly staff. Very accommodating. I had a 6:30 a.m. tacii to meet and I was perfectly on time with a personal escort. Great location and good signage."

"The host were perfect very helpful and welcoming. Overall everything was very good. They also booked us some tours. Very good value for money."

"The entrance to go to the Riad was a little bit strange and dirty ( not because of the host) We would have appreciated that for the tour we did in the desert they would send us the program also by WhatsApp or email."

Giada - 01/05/2024 13:59:48

"Everything. The guy from the staff was so welcoming even though we booked our room last second and also made us choose a better room. The breakfast was exceptional probably the best we had from all the Riads we stayed in and we had it in a nice and quiet terrace."

"Nothing. The alley to reach the Riad is completely dark so you'll need a light to find it but still didn't felt dangerous :)"

"The staff Mohamed and Hassan were so lovely and welcoming. They did everything they could to make sure we had everything we needed. They even helped us find our mother when we lost her in the medina. The building was also very beautiful and spotless, the cleanest stay we've had in Morocco. When we return to Fes we will stay here again for sure."

"I needed a place to stay on my way through and this fit the bill. Happy to have stayed there. The staff was especially helpful."

"Amazing camp accessible by car. We only had front-wheel drive Dacia, so it was a bit difficult to get there. If you go, lease a 4x4 for sure. We only wanted a day trip on camels, so we arrived by car. There are many camps that you can visit on a multi-day trip on camels deeper in the desert, however, if you only want a day trip on camels and have car, this is a must-visit. Personnel superb, food superb Bathroom facilities better than most hotels, in the tent (available outside of tent as well - they have public bathrooms) They booked a day trip on camels. We wanted to try this limited version before going on a multiple day trip on camels. I suggest telling them that you don't want to spend 4h on the lunch break. It's too long. 2h of break is enough. You go about 2h on camels' backs and then back after lunch. This camp was top 2 experiences we had in morocco. If you want larger and more iconic sand dunes, visit Merzouga. The dunes here are small, yet beautiful"

"Basic accommodation and cheaper than others. Room was clean, staff were excellent and it is in a central location. Would highly recommend"

"Ali and his family were welcoming and sharing, offering us amazing hospitality. The camp area was a wonderful oasis with a flowing, and swimmable river, complete with various birds, and fresh water fish. It was truly an escape from our travels."

"The guys in the reception were really nice with me and they try to help me with everything. The location is real good next to todgha gorges. The showers were cold and the guy said that they are normally hot but I think it’s something normal there. The breakfast was good"

"Faisal, the owner was very hospitable and eager to help us get around the gorge. The guest house itself was very quaint and we felt very safe. We were even invited to Iftar!"

"The staff were fabulous and very helpful when my travel was delayed and I arrived very late."

"Excellent location with the most stunning view on the rooftop. The dorm bed is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious with friendly staff. Love it!!!"

"Service and people there Usama and aziz ate amazing people Very friendly and very helpful"
