Guest reviews for Riad Sable Chaud
"The staff were all wonderful and friendly. Said walked me and my luggage to the car he arranged taking me to the airport. Room was nicely decorated and very authentic. Great suggestions from staff on places to eat and things to do. Google maps was essential to find your way through the mazes of the 'streets' which I anticipated. Very hearty breakfast served, not a buffet."
"A bit hard to get to any of the riads in the medina as there are few roads. I would not take an Uber as they dropped me off quite far from the riad as I don't think they are allowed to go there. I had to walk and then took a taxi fairly close and someone I thought was just being nice walked me to the riad and requested a tip. The road itself is beautiful but some of the neighbors houses are missing. But I was greater with a big smile and cookies and mint tea at my early arrival."
"We had a wonderful stay at Riad Sable Chaud! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome – offering tea upon check-in and helping us coordinate airport transportation with ease. The riad itself is stunning, with beautiful high-end design details throughout that make it feel like a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. The location is ideal — tucked away enough to feel private, yet still within walking distance of major sights and the Medina. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that made our stay so memorable. Highly recommend!"

"Breakfast was very good. staff very nice and the Riad very comfy. Also the roundtrip to the airport was arranged very well!"
"One small thing.. the trip to the Agafay desert booked via the accommodation was a little overpriced. The trip itself was very good!"
"The riad is really nice, it is close to the Medina (~15mins walk) and the staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. Delicious breakfast and lunch was included. Highly recommended, I would definitely come back."

"There were a lot of friendly people cleaning the riad and the rooftop terras was provided with nice bed to relax on."
"The pictures of the terras were romanticized. The pictures did not lie but made it look more cute. We thought the riad was provided with a rooftop swimmingpool, however this turned out to be a watertap with no water inside."
"Nice place to stay. Very friendly ladies who cooked and tied up our rooms."
"1. I arranged with Riad to be picked up from the airport since we were arriving late. Driver was waiting outside which was nice. When we got to medina he stopped and said that manager from riad will come for us. Meanwhile I sent message with question who do I pay ? The driver or at riad - service wasn't good so I didn't get answer right away. The "manager" came and walked us to riad. When we walked in I asked "do I pay you?" He said " you pay me" so I gave him 20 euros for the cab as it was arranged. Then the front desk person ( I forgot his name ) said no you pay me and he told the "manager " who walked us to give money back and they started to argue. "Manager" gave money back and he was clearly upset and front desk person said give some money to my friend. I gave him 2 euros ( all I had in change) and he looked with grim on his face and said no and gave it back. During payment for our stay , front desk person repeated few more times to give some money for his friend. This was very interesting encounter and uncomfortable at the same time, since the :manager" who walked us appeared to live/ hang out in the building across from riad and we would see him everytime we would leave/ come back . 2. No locks on doors - I fel little uneasy to leave door unlocked- I know it's small riad and staff has control who walks in but lock gives you some piece of mind ( other riads I stayed in had that option."
"Everything was perfect, beautiful interior design, location in medina and above all, very nice and helpful staff!"

"We spent four nights in Riyadh, which I remember very fondly. The location is central, a 15-minute walk to the square. The staff deserves the highest praise; everyone was incredibly kind! My boyfriend and I were sick, and Fatima immediately helped us. Every day, everyone asked how we were feeling. We are so grateful for everything! We had a charming ground-floor room – the only slight downside was that you could hear everything happening on the patio and in the other direction, but not many people were on the patio during our stay. Upstairs, there's a very pleasant and colorful terrace. The breakfast was excellent, something different every day. We wholeheartedly recommend it!"

"This stay in the Ziz valley felt extremely authentic and was a perfect way to end our time in this area of Morocco. Great location to stay for flights in and out of Errichidia. Hami and his family were excellent hosts and we loved our time talking, having tea, and enjoying the best tangine we had in Morocco!"

"I had a wonderful experience in the desert. I stayed in a bivouac room, which was beautiful and comfortable in the middle of nature. Everything was clean, well organized, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Mr. Mubarak and his team were amazing—very kind, welcoming, and hospitable. They really made sure we had a great stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay at “Kasbah du Bout”. The host was very friendly and made sure our needs were met. The Kasbah was very clean and well kept. We experienced a relaxing atmosphere and stay. We recommend staying here when visiting Zagora. Fred K. United States."
"Amazing camp accessible by car. We only had front-wheel drive Dacia, so it was a bit difficult to get there. If you go, lease a 4x4 for sure. We only wanted a day trip on camels, so we arrived by car. There are many camps that you can visit on a multi-day trip on camels deeper in the desert, however, if you only want a day trip on camels and have car, this is a must-visit. Personnel superb, food superb Bathroom facilities better than most hotels, in the tent (available outside of tent as well - they have public bathrooms) They booked a day trip on camels. We wanted to try this limited version before going on a multiple day trip on camels. I suggest telling them that you don't want to spend 4h on the lunch break. It's too long. 2h of break is enough. You go about 2h on camels' backs and then back after lunch. This camp was top 2 experiences we had in morocco. If you want larger and more iconic sand dunes, visit Merzouga. The dunes here are small, yet beautiful"
