"The riad is in an area of the medina (Bab Aylan) a bit less crowded and much more authentic. Tamarrakecht is a very charming place, run by a Moroccan family that really makes you feel like you are at their own place. They do everything with love, taking care of all the details. They even offered us some traditional Moroccan kaftans for wishing us a happy new year. Our stay was lovely, I would definitely recommend it. I miss already their amazing breakfast!"

The host family made our stay unforgettable: the father is always kind and available, and the mother is an amazing cook. Breakfasts were delicious, and we also enjoyed a fantastic lunch with traditional tajines. A special thank you to Sara, who supported us with every request. Her tips were truly valuable and made our stay — and the whole trip — much smoother. "The Riad Tamarrakecht It’s a perfect location for a beautiful Moroccan authenticity. It seems to be an authentic Riad with beautifully appointed tile floors, painted wood furniture, beautiful lanterns, and authentic features. The staff are very friendly and warm… Also very helpful. The breakfast was also a highlight with many choices, spiced coffee or Moroccan tea with many choices (unless you have a gluten allergy). We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it."

"It was a bit of a hassle to pay the hotel rate in cash, but it wasn’t a huge detractor from the trip. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is important to note that you will be staying in old town Medina, with very limited car access. However, we didn’t mind walking to a more accessible area to get to the center f Marraketch."
