"A good and clean hotel with good value for money. Bed linen and rooms cleaned daily. Breakfasts were delicious and, most importantly, fast. The coffee and sandwiches were excellent. There's a bus stop right next to the hotel ($1,5 per ride), with connections to different parts of the island. Public beaches are 2-3-minutes walk away. We like it, thank you."

"Good location. Not far fro shops, cheap local dinig and duty-frees. Near the road so a bit loud sometimes but it's ok. Great comfortable beds. Quite large rooms as for Langkawi"

Staff. The staff should ask before entering the guest's room. A lot of miscommunication: you have to chat via Whatsapp with a person listed on booking and with a generic manager and with another manager. Too complicated.

"The place was very very clean. 3 rooms in this big house up on a hill. Comfortable room with ceiling fan (a/c is an extra charge). Shared toilet/shower again very clean. Large kitchen with everything and spacious dining room common area. Nice small back veranda overlooking a valley of homes. Secure. A short 2 min walk away is a local shack like shop selling basic needs (not a market). The owner and staff are very nice. Great value given the few options in Gizo, I highly recommend!"

It is up on a hill. I enjoyed the daily 10-15 min perfectly safe walk down to city center and then opted for a 20 SBD taxi ride back up.

"The room was close to the highway and easily accessible. Double doors effectively isolated it from traffic noise. The back door opened to the grass area and lake. The is a small beach with comfortable slope to the swimming. In seems that we were the only one in the motel because it was not the skiing season. It allowed us to heat sauna of the motel by ourselves and enjoy the privacy in the back area. We arrived late, but it was easy to get a key at the Himos center by giving a call 24/7."

Well, considering the price we did not expect any extra comfort. We did not use TV but it seemed very small, rather like monitor. It is not possible to open the windows in the room so we had to open the door for night time, which does not look safe, considering the proximity to road.

Shower/toiilet room was quite chilli. The floor was very cold. Water in shower had an unpleasent smell.

"The room was quite big and clean, with a balcony. The washroom was also clean and had a bathtub. The sea view was great. The staff was really nice, and overall, the service was superb. The place was exceptionally quiet and calm. I really liked and enjoyed my stay. Although I stayed for only one night, when I went for a walk in the morning before checking out, I saw the housekeeping staff cleaning the rooms. Hopefully, I will visit again in the future."

The bedding was horrible, sheets felt like paper, pillows were hard and very uncomfortable. Didn't even use them. The first unit we got the toilet had leakages and were taken to another. The second one we got had dripping water from the shower, the sound was kind off irritating.

"The price is very attractive and the location is great, by the main road and not far from the bus station. The staff was very helpful! They picked us up at the bus station, gave valuable recommendations and looked after our luggage even after checkout."

The place is quite worn down and not really clean but you shouldn’t expect much for such a low price

Tiny bath/ rain head didn't work / diverted to handheld did work well. Kitchen had very minimal supplies Easily fix items not working like bedside lamps/ some overhead bulbs...these items working makes a much better impression on guests. Toilet seats need to be tightened swinging all over Meanwhile I would stay here again it's a good price & a good sleep.
