"Simply a must-stay place for all honeymooners! Very cosy and romantic. The outdoor kitchen is super cool. And there is a beautiful beach literally a few steps away - white sands, crystal clear water and large corals nearby - perfect for snorkeling. You can borrow various equipment like sunbed or snorkel for free! The hosts are very nice and give good tips for trips. A cleaning lady comes every day. There is another cabin in the same garden but it is discretely separated."

"Pascale and Gerard are lovely hosts--helpful and kind. The place itself is charming and beautifully situated on a small beachfront property. The outdoor kitchen on the covered balcony was particularly lovely. This is the kind of place where you just want to lounge around all day! The location is perfect, with a gorgeous stretch of private beach in front and a short walk to the public beach and local restaurants. Mahebourg is a very short drive away and offers all the conveniences of a large town (with all the charm you could want--I loved this part of the island). Accommodations tend to be expensive below Mahebourg and so this is also a real value."

"Location is fantastic, Tibakan bungalow is located on the best part of point d'Esny beach. This part of beach is suitable for both swimming and snorkelling. Water is cristal clear, coral garden is few meters on the left hand side, sand is soft and white. The hosts pick me from Black River for 2500 MUR and drove me to the airport for 800MUR. It is expensive, but transfers as a whole in Mauritius are overpriced, taking into account that fuel is only 1 EUR per litter. Bungalow is small, but it is ok for few days. Kitchen box is well equipped. Bungalow is cleaned daily."

"The hosts have two bungalows-Tilakaz and Tibakan. Tilakaz has sea view and is much bigger than Tibakan. It is away from the street and street noise is not an issue. Tibakan overlooks Tilakaz' back, it is located two meters from main street and there is serious noise till midnight. My neighbours tolf me that they renred Tilakaz for 80 EUR/night, which is good value for money. Unfortunately Tibakan is offered fot 75 EUR/night and is overpriced taking into account lack of view, big sreet noise and smaller size."

"Great accomodation to explore South east area of the island. The place is cozy, private and with all the facilities needed it for few days. The place is looked after and has an access right to the beach on the back, great for snorkelling and swimming. Beach towels are provided as well as daily cleaning of the studio. The hosts are very welcoming, helpful and give the best recommendations for restaurants, activities and attractions around. They also helped us to sort out some issues that we had during our stay."

They even invited us out for a boat trip they were making which was really great ! 👌 The accomodation unit is very comfortable with everything you need and 35m from the beach which is amazing and very special ! The snorkelling right off the beach is first class !"

"Our stay in Tikaban was absolutely excellent! The accommodation exceeded all expectations—both the bedroom and the outdoor kitchen were perfectly equipped with everything one could possibly need. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged for comfort and convenience. The beach access was fantastic, and I dare to say that the cleanliness and beauty of this beach are unmatched by any other on the island! The pristine sand and crystal-clear water made for an unforgettable experience. A truly exceptional place—I highly recommend it!"

"Tikaban was the perfect place for us! We really felt in love! We went there twice during our stay in Mauritius and id felt like home. It was our happy place! Its located at the best spot in Mauritius in our opinion. It‘s right next to the most beautiful beach and there are some nice restaurants around aswell a divecenter around the corner. Pascale and Gérard are very, very lovely hosts and we really enjoyed the time with them!!!! Its more a 10++ :)"
