"Great staff, very accommodating with holding my bags, comfortable room, nice breakfast."

"A charming place right across the Central Station, perfect for spending the night before my flight! Loved the train themed decor!"

"The location is great, right across from Amsterdam Centraal station. We were able to leave the station and walk three minutes to get there. It’s a European hotel - small, efficient rooms, but the theme and decor of the bottom floor was really charming and fun. The staff was great as well. The breakfast was good, though nothing exciting (hey, included hotel breakfast, it is what it is), but it did the trick and was tasty. Don’t put the raisin bread through the toaster!"
"It’s a European hotel: rooms are small, bathroom is small, hallways are small, but for the price and location, it was great!"
"Loved the location which was right next to canal for cruises, the main train station and the main high street. There is a supermarket right next door Everything is walking distance. The room was clean, bed was so comfortable, and thermostat was great so could manage room temp well. Breakfast was basic but tasted great. The staff and team were so friendly and helpful. Loved the team and would come here again"

"Perfect location. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast every morning. Comfortable bed."
"No complaints at all. Room was a little small but that was okay for me. Room was comfortable with all that I needed including a safe and decent shower."
"It is cozy and have a vintage vibe. It was clean and my room was transferred to a room with a window view."

"We absolutely loved this hotel! The train theme and decor throughout all areas and rooms was fun and unique, especially in the breakfast room, which featured many vintage railway items and cozy booths for dining. We had upgraded to a first class room, so had a view via big windows of the canal below. The Amsterdam central train station is located right across the canal and nearby bridge, so it was convenient for getting from the airport by train to the hotel and afterwards continuing by train to Germany. Although the breakfast buffet area was small, it featured a great assortment of food and also a coffee machine that provides a variety of free coffees, as well as tea and hot chocolate throughout the day if needed. Also, the staff at the front desk and breakfast area was helpful and very friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel and will definitely stay here again on any future trips to Amsterdam!"
"A small nightlight in or near the washroom would have been much appreciated, to provide visibility during night time trips to the WC. Also, although the view of the canal is nice, the old windows provide very little noise isolation. The street below was quite noisy until midnight and early morning hours due to people, likely youths, hanging around near the front of the hotel both nights we were there. We typically stay up quite late anyway, but guests who want to sleep earlier, or are light sleepers, may prefer a room that does not face the front of the hotel."
"Perfect location. Room was very small but we spent any spare time we had in the lobby - which had free coffee/tea and snacks. Staff were super friendly. The included breakfast was fine - GF options were available."
"There was nothing to not like. We were very happy with the stay."

"Great location. Beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was nice. The meal was simple but good. Self check in was simple and efficient."

"The room was quite nice, clean & well planned. Good lighting. Ventilation was a bit challenging. The upper window was very hard to reach to open & close. Quiet for right on the street."
"The room was very charming, cosy, and clean. There were a lot of nice touches like an espresso machine, earplugs, and a little bag of local candy. Great location! In the summer I can imagine it is quite noisy with the nearby restaurants and bars, which is probably why they provide earplugs. I was glad I didn't bring much luggage, because my room was up three flights of steep stairs. The bathroom was a bit chilly because it has ventilation but no source of heat. I learned to keep the bathroom door open to let the room heat in. The unlocking of rooms by internet was a little confusing at first and potentially problematic—what if you run out of battery or lose your phone or are traveling from outside the EU and have to pay roaming charges?—but worked fine for me in the end."

"Breakfast was lovely and the room was charming. An excellent location!"

"Great breakfast, the buffet may not look large, by modern standards, but everything you need is there, and I particularly appreciated the quality of many raw ingredients, often compromised upon, in buffets. Fantastic selection of teas! Restaurant is also good, if a bit limited in choice and opening hours (closed on Sundays). Very quiet. And for once, a hotel that doesn't fall in the insanity of washing towels and cleaning the room every day! Well done!"
Maurizio Mercure Hotel Zwolle
"Friendly staff, nice room, strong shower, two pillows per persoon, electric fan and enough towels!"
"The hotel captured the imagination with its design. The room was a perfect size and the shower was heavenly. The cherry on top was balcony facing the stadium! What a hotel!!!"
Jeshua Hotel Lumen Zwolle
"Clean, nice bar and terrace to sit and have food or just drinks."
"The staff were amazing! So friendly and welcoming! They went over and above! Every single employee was friendly, gracious, polite and all about our needs! Such a great stay!"
