"So convent to train and close to everything within 20mi. Walk"
"Could not control the temperature of room really well"
"Just the best location ever. Central to everything and being on the canal with the view was simply amazing."
"Nothing"
"We love Amsterdam and have visited several times. But never stayed on a boat on a canal. Great view and location, obviously. Nice little outdoor sitting area and fairly roomy inside (I had space to do Pilates) with a sink and fridge. We loved it!"
"I don’t think there is WiFi. I never asked to be honest and the password was not given to us. We had great coverage and didn’t ever bother to inquire."
"We loved being on the canal and using the patio to watch the boats sail by throughout the day. Considering we were right there, it wasn't too noisy at night. The canal was very quiet and serene in the mornings."
"The listing said they had air conditioning, but I didn't actually feel anything coming out. It was about 85F when we stayed there, so the boat was very uncomfortable. They had one fan, but we used two sleeping areas, so one fan wasn't enough. The "kids" sleeping area is best for people 5'2" or shorter. The bed in the "parent" sleeping area was very firm, so this could make it hard for some people to sleep."
"Our favorite thing to do was sit out on the porch and watch the boats pass. So many friendly waves. Couldn't have been a better location to food, drinks and attractions. A little walk to the train station but doable. Friendly welcome and easy checkout"
"No air conditioner but fan worked"
"Staying on this particular canal on a houseboat was perfect. There was a lot of boat traffic and friendly people passing by while we had food and drinks on the small outdoor balcony. The location is a block or so from a Metro stop and a grocery store is around the corner. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There were three of us- my husband, me and our college-aged daughter- we had ample room and it’s a lovely interior. We will stay there again."
"There was nothing we disliked."
"Great location and unique stay on a houseboat. Was super quiet at night. Lovely stay in the canal. Fun watching other boats go by while sitting on patio."
"It did get a bit warm on the hotter days. Mattress in the bedroom was a bit pressed in from use on one side."
"We loved the view, location, and terrace on the canal. Truly the only way to stay in Amsterdam, we were the envy of every passing tour boat. It was near a coffee shop for breakfast parties and coffee just a few steps away. It was a little small and we hoped for a door on the bedroom but otherwise great!"
"Aucun."
"Overall it was good. With 3 of us it was a bit small. It would have been good to have 3 stools outside. And the outside deck wasn’t clean enough to sit on. Fortunately the weather was good and we were out a lot. The staff were friendly and the location excellent."
"Aucun."
"Excellent location, very clean. Good space overall, great host. The balcony was very nice. It was very quiet overnight."
"Mattress wasn’t as comfortable as I like- I could feel a ridge in the middle of the bed. Although it was advertised as sleeping 4, it was not disclosed that the second bed was created by the conversion of the dining table. No privacy in bedroom, and there was not good ventilation except for opening the door to the patio. Although it didn’t bother us at all, we didn’t realize in advance that the boat is divided into two units and we didn’t have access to the top deck. The other people in the other unit were very quiet."
