"We had an amazing stay at Fossen! The view from our cabin was breathtakingly beautiful. It was fun to be able to experience the excitement of the town below but also to be able to retreat to quietness of the mountain in our little cabin home. We also enjoyed the hike that went up near the waterfall and started close to reception."
"We loved everything!!!!! It might have been helpful to have more instruction about specifically where to park our car. We didn’t understand exactly where to park and one day parked in someone else’s spot… because someone else was parked where we parked the day before. But that was the only thing. Everything else was perfect and wonderful!!!"

"Almost everything was there to spend few days comfortable (the kettle but was missing but we didn’t miss it too much - found a way to boil the water for hot beverages)."

"We had quite low expectations, but the stay exceeded all of them by far :). We got a bit different rooms from what we’ve seen on the picture, or in our imagination… but they have only 5 special rooms, and all of them have their own story and design. The house is more than 200 years old, it has a long history, and you feel it in the air, in every small detail of the house, all the attention and details of décor. The house has impressive yard (if you are lucky with the weather), you can swim in the sea. The bathrooms and a toilet are shared among all the tenants, but we had no queues or overlapping with our other tenants staying the same night. It was one of the most unique hotels we stayed at, it has a soul! Lovely stay and experience for our family of four."
