"Room is in a converted farmhouse which doesn’t have the best sound proofing. Quite hard to find the reception house especially when it’s dark. Room is quite small and pricey."

"Very nice old farmhouse with exellent views. The Food was great and staff was attentive and nice. We had some drinks in the garden next to the main building which was excellent as it was very hot day for a norwegian summer. The addition of a sauna and a pier to watch (did not made use of Kayaks for rent) over the water made it a nice complete package. From the hotel it was only a short drive to Jostedal for excellent hikes or to visit the glacier."

Speciai thanks for the homemade jam for my croissant! All of the common areas were lovely and well appointed. One of the staff provided over-the-top help with getting the EV car charger to work--in the rain! Thank you!"

"Outstanding accommodations and location! We had a beautiful room overlooking the waterfall and Fjord. We had the 3-course dinner which was amazing. The chef explained each dish and the service was top notch. The staff was amazing and made this a special stay. Don’t stay anywhere else if you’re in this area!"

"I don't know where to even begin! I booked one night as a layover, ended up falling in love with the place and stayed an extra night (and I wish my vacation was longer, so that I could stay longer). The property is unreal! The views are 😲 And the owner is the sweetest person I've met in Norway, which says a lot because I only met incredibly kind people during my travels. Highly recommend the dinner, it was one of the best meals I've had in my entire life, and I travel a lot. Overall, absolutely fantastic experience!"
