Guest reviews for Radisson Blu Resort, Trysil
"Ski in ski out, pool facility, breakfast buffet, the fire table in the welcoming atrium with bar and spectacular wood fired pizzas!"
"Ski in ski out requires walking plus magic carpet or beginner slope and poma lift to get to the 2 main uphill lifts."
"Hotel was clean. Breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. Ski-in Ski-out to good terrain."
"Trysil has very few restaurants to choose from. Radisson Blu has three restaurants and for a week’s stay, we struggled to find places for dinner after a few days."
"The Spa treatment was amazing, even thou they had only 20 minutes massage booking available and I wanted more. The staff was very charismatic. The room was a good size and was very clean when I checked in. Good restaurants and amazing activities for kids, even thou I was without my children. Amazing location."
"The extra towels in pool or spa were extra charge, old and not so comfy. Front desk staff was not very pro active in problem solving (although very very nice). The cleaning room during my stay was not so good, so I had to leave a message requesting to empty trash bins and taking used cutlery and wine glasses from the previous nights. Pool area needs more attention."
"The staff are exceptional - specifically Moa who looked after us so well for our stay!!"
"Nothing to not like."
"The facilities for skiers are very good - ski to and from the ski room door. Ski room storage is superb. The swimming pool was very good. Breakfast was good and the 3 on-site restaurants we tried all served very good meals. Our standard room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Good bathroom."
"Unfortunately our room was overlooked and there were no curtains except black out blinds. Moreover, the lighting in the room was dismal, with very low powered light bulbs and no ceiling lights. There is little storage and no luggage rack. Plenty of room for a chest of drawers but instead we had to leave stuff in a suitcase on the floor. Very odd choice by designers to supply so little furniture!"
"Comfy beds, ski in/out and tasty breakfest. A lot of fun things to do in the hotel especially with kids."
"No slippers in the room"
"Property right next to slopes and ski school. The pool was a great plus for the kids. There was a sauna there as well. There was a room with 2 ping ping tables and some other activities. A large cinema room showing a different children movie every night . A simple but very nice gym. Free coffee, water and sometimes cookies within the hotel. Breakfast was very good and had proper nutritious food. Free ski locker . Felt soooo safe . The staff was amazing ."
"The room was a bit small for 4 people . ( a double bed and a sofa bed). Pool, bowling and SPA had additional cost. Buffet dinner didn’t seem to be very qualitative especially for the price."
"Comfortable, clean, plenty of things to do, great staff"
"Somewhat crowded pool area"
"Staff were amazing and the ski in and ski out was lovely!"
"Aucun."
"Good space, nice view, good food and the people (personnel)were very kind"
"We had a problem with heating, but they helped us with 2 electric radiators. In the middle of the day, don’t have too much options for eating - are opened the bar from the lobby + the italian restaurant (but the menu is limited) and the ski bar - here sandwiches + drinks and 1 type of soup (tomato soup was in our period of stay). What i want to say is if your children want to eat something (or even you) not a lot of options comparing with morning or evening."
