"We had booked for 4 people but they had only made arrangements for 3. There was no staff available on site and no one was responding to messages either. It was quite inconvenient for us. There was no one else at the property and that made the stay a little scary"
"The view from the window is absolutely stunning — a beautiful landscape to wake up to (photo attached). The room was spotless, warm, and very comfortable. We had a lovely stay and really appreciated the attention to detail. Highly recommended!"

"We loved Our room at the ground floor. We were able to cook at The kitchen. Quiet place, easy to find with offline maps, the owner was very accommodating. Our room has 2 double decks with a private bathroom. Wide windows with a nice view. We loves the midnight sun view. More parking spaces. The entire property is very clean. Easy check in"

"What a great little gem. I had a very enjoyable stay here. The fill-in manager and manager were both very kind and happy to have a chat and offer any assistance. Everything is very clean and well organised. The rooms and ensuites are basic but have everything you need, and again, are well maintained and clean. The cozy fire in the evenings was a welcome treat. Bus stop to/from Finnsnes is right outside. Highly recommend"
"More of a heads up to anyone travelling via bus - the services don't operate on Saturday and are super limited on Sunday, so do plan accordingly. You will also need to be stocked up on food to cook if you don't want to have to keep taking lengthy detours into the town. That said, the tranquility of being out of the town is the highlight!"
"The property is in a fantastic location, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It provides easy access to various points of interest around Senja and allows for a convenient trip back to the mainland for groceries. The rooms were spacious, and the shared areas were beautifully maintained. The large dining and lounge area, complete with a fireplace, created a cosy and welcoming environment. The kitchens were well-equipped, making it enjoyable to prepare meals alongside other guests and share dining experiences at the spacious communal table."

"We had quite low expectations, but the stay exceeded all of them by far :). We got a bit different rooms from what we’ve seen on the picture, or in our imagination… but they have only 5 special rooms, and all of them have their own story and design. The house is more than 200 years old, it has a long history, and you feel it in the air, in every small detail of the house, all the attention and details of décor. The house has impressive yard (if you are lucky with the weather), you can swim in the sea. The bathrooms and a toilet are shared among all the tenants, but we had no queues or overlapping with our other tenants staying the same night. It was one of the most unique hotels we stayed at, it has a soul! Lovely stay and experience for our family of four."

"Everything was great — super clean, comfy beds, enough towels, well-equipped kitchen with coffee and all essentials, washing machine and drying rack (both electric and stand), terrace, and good atmosphere overall. The location is also amazing — right by the main road, making it super easy to reach all the Lofoten sights (we never drove more than 2.5h)."
