"Quiet, historical location allows you to watch the operation of the locks. Having a restaurant on site was a big plus. We had a lovely dinner on the porch, and the breakfast the next morning was just fine. This was good for a one-night stay, but probably wouldn't want to stay longer than that. Location was great to get to Ulefoss or Lunde to go for a canal boat cruise."

"Ein sehr einfaches Zimmer, wie beschrieben (und erwartet). Aber in allen Belangen ausreichend; wer dorthin fährt, will keinen Spa-Urlaub. Damit man auch mal selber kochen konnte, wurden Küchengeräte und Geschirr zur Verfügung gestellt. Vermieter nebenan immer ansprechbar und freundlich/lösungsorientiert. Abwasch wurde für uns erledigt, auch mal Himbeeren oder ein Stück Kuchen vorbei gebracht. Alles in Allem ein gelungener Urlaub; gerne wieder ☺️"
