"I really suggest to sleep in a typical house in Misfah al Abriyyin, and Bait Baityn was very good. The staff was very kind and gentle, and you can have good breakfast and dinner on the rooftop. Even if the village is very old, the house is renovated and the room has all modern facilities. Misfah al Abriyyin is a very good starting point to explore the beautiful mountains that are nearby the village."

"The staff, as almost always in Oman, are just incredibly kind people. Ahmed was dynamite and seems to do a little of everything. The renovated hotel is exactly what you'd expect in small village. A little funky, fun, adventurous but always comfortable. Beds were excellent. Pillows comfortable. Lots of hot water and good pressure. Spaces between rooms are tight so expect to hear foot traffic going back and forth. But after 9 pm it's so blissfully quiet."

"The hotel itself is in a old authentic house of the village. It's very picturesque. The location is perfect. The hotel is right at the start of the palm plantation walk (W9). The food was good and authentic. The staff was extremely friendly."

"We stayed at Bait Baityn for two nights and enjoyed it very much. It's the perfect place to stay at and relax in the beautiful village of Misfat Al Abriyeen. It's a traditional house with a really nice rooftop, where breakfast and dinner are served. Our room was comfortable and spacious. A big thanks to Ahmad and Ahmad, who both made our stay really special. To respect the locals, we suggest parking outside of the old village and taking a backpack with the overnight essentials - instead of driving right to the end of the road and clogging everything (as unfortunately many other tourists did)."

"This place is very authentic - it has been renovated and is clean and comfortable, but you still get the vibe of an old farmhouse. I arrived late and the owners invited me to a dinner at a local place, where they themselves eat. Super nice of them and I also got to taste some delicious food. I don't think I ever got such good service at a hotel."
