"This was a great place to stay if you are headed to the Balcony walk. It was comfortable and had most of the amenities needed for a night or two. The owner was very helpful and available for any assistance. It was easy to find with directions and photos. There is a nice outdoor area for a fire and star gazing. We would stay again."

"Ali was a wonderful host - very attentive and kind. The property feels like a chalet while also having a strong Omani vibe, which is a refreshing change from typical Western hotels and really helps you feel connected to the mountain. We hadn’t expected how cold it gets in the evening, but we were happy to find a heater to keep warm. The property is very well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We also really enjoyed our hike in Jebel Shams with Mahmood, as well as the driving services provided by his nephew, Mohammed in Muscat. An extra point goes to the fact that I forgot my headphones at the property, and they were kind enough to return them to me while I was in Muscat during the last days of my stay."

"We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful villa, which was exclusively ours during our visit. The property is spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, its location is convenient, being just a 40-minute drive from Jabal Shams Balcony Walk. Although we did not have the opportunity to meet the owner, Ali, in person, he was exceptionally helpful and provided excellent advice over the phone. He remained available to assist us whenever needed. I highly recommend this villa for anyone seeking a relaxing and well-appointed place to stay."

"The Jebel Shams Villa is located in a small mountain village , close to the neat city of Al Hamra & to Wadi Ghul. The Balcony Walk Trail is also not far. Ali is a perfect host, he took time to explain us everything in the villa & also showed us the area. Would stay there again every time!"
