"The dome/tent is really comfortable and big enough with 2 kids. The view from the “window” is just amazing. The breakfast and dinner were simple but really good. They organized for us the transfer from Muscat, stopping by the Wadi Bani Khalid then the camp ; The next day back to Muscat. The prices were really fair. A big thanks to Ali who drove us very safely. We did some activities on the camp such as the desert tour and the camel ride ; It’s was really cool!"

"We stayed at the Sunset Dome for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The dome itself was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and surprisingly comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to the peaceful surroundings and stunning views was unforgettable. The atmosphere was calm and immersive, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature with fresh air. The host/owners ( HILAL ALHAJRI ) Abu AlQasim, was welcoming, attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of. This stay exceeded our expectations, that we wanted to extend one more night, but it was fully booked. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway."

"I went in December 2025, and the owner told me that this camp had only been opened for 4 months. It was understandable, because the camp was so exceptionally clean and new. It was beautifully decorated and had an unobstructed view of the desert. We could see camels roaming around freely. Hot water works well. Everything was perfect. Do take note that if you are driving, that there are 2 potential entrances to the camp We went the wrong way and because our 4x4 was not strong enough, we had to U turn and enter from the other entrance. Because if you go the wrong entrance, there is a very steep incline of sand that you have to ascend to the other side where this camp is You can google maps 'Home x4' and it should guide you the right entrance Also don't forget to deflate your tyres!"

"My partner wanted to rent one of their ATVs for awhile but the staff manning the ATV was inflexible to allow him to rent for a shorter time period (other than the fixed 1 hour), and prices were very steep"

"Very clean inside, very confortable bed, snacks and water in the room. The staff is kind and helpful. The shower is very convenient and real water pressure which is a luxury in the desert."

"Diner and activity price a bit overrated. The safari is cool but the driver seems to be more interested of meeting his friends than really sharing with us, that’s a bit disappointing"

"Privacy, relaxation and yourself. It is a place which is unlike other vacations where there is a reception, concierge and stuff.. here we are in the middle of Sands and just by yourself. We had been during Ramadan so expected that their kitchen will not be functioning in day time, but they managed and took great care of our Dinner and breakfast. It was an amazing stay and we enjoyed it"

"It was a very pleasant experience! The domes are fresh and clean but the best part was the outdoor seating at night for stargazing. We truly enjoyed our stayed and would highly recommend it . Food was also very nice !"
