"You need 4 wheels car to drive to the property. Part of the road is not paved."

"The place is absoulutely breathataking like something out of dream ,,,,surrounded by stunning views that feel almoust unreal. Every moment there feels magical, and the most important .....What made our stay more special was meeting some of the local mountain people working at the hotel..They were truly kind ,respectful , and welcoming . This touched me and my family deeply, and it made our experience unforgettable .We will definitely return for another visit ."

"The view from the hotel. The warm reception by the hotel night staff, cooperation by staff for adjusting in the room after arrival and shifting the luggage, the restaurant and restaurant staff."

"Lot of cockroaches. Absence of proper help at night, we did not have water supply in room at night, we tried the reception number multiple times but there was no response. Then we wandered throughout the office , security room and the whole campus, also shouted to see if anyone could hear us, but no response for 15 minutes. I suppose this is a.managment issue and not issue of staff not responding. Might be staff were busy. There was no contact number or WhatsApp number mentioned inside room so that one can contact in case of emergency. After all the property is at the top of the hill and anyone may require medical help or other help at night."

"The view is great, the temperature is 10 degrees less than in Muscat, so good for summer. The staff are super nice. Very big and comfortable bed"

"We were there on Eid, so it was full and a lot of kids, was impossible to get a place at the pool. The menu is a bit too Indian, I was hoping it would be more Arabic in such a place. The prices for SPA are too much - 50 riyals and more"

"Amazing view & sunset! quiet and laid-back. Very friendly staff and smooth check-in. Received a free room upgrade and discount on meals. Nothing to worry about the drive if you are in a 4X4. Possible in a car but not recommended."

"Not much of shaded area to escape the mid-day heat (except for staying within the room or restaurant area and enjoying the view). However, temperatures drop at around sunset and makes it very comfortable and enjoyable to be in the open (visited in April)."

"The view from 'The View' is stunning! Facilities are all right, clean, spacious, toilet/shower all right. Breakfast was very good. Not much to do around the hotel, but hanging around on the patio, enjoying the views with a cup of tea is great enough. We didn't try the swimming pool as we arrived quite late."

"Little to do around the hotel - so for me 'The View' is a place for one day/night: enjoy dinner, swimming pool, the views. Having said this - the place is a bit of must-check-out if it's on your route. Views are truly stunning."

"1. Rooms with a rather outdated interior. 2. The restaurant doesn't serve real coffee, only instant. How hard is it to brew proper tea? Only Lipton tea bags are available."

"The location is amazing. The pool was clean and really did make for great views. Our room was very clean and felt private. The hotel grounds were very well kept. The dinner and breakfast options were excellent. The staff were so kind."

"Honestly our only real complaint is that the coffee could use some improvement! We stayed at more remote places with much better coffee."
