Casa Porta

"We loved how quaint & authentic the decor was. I felt I was in Peru & not in an American cookie cutter hotel. We were warmly greeted by the hotel staff. They fixed our TV issues quickly. Gave us bottled water & candy. Very nice breakfast including scrambled eggs! We were near the bluffs so an easy walk. Also to walk to the Indian Market was about 20-30 minutes, a decent stroll."

"Construction next door was going on but stopped by 500pm. No air conditioning but was provided a fan which worked out to be fine"

"Excellent location for walking and town and getting to the playa. I also picked this place over others because it's in a calmer neighbourhood. The interior design is super cute, lots of nice places to sit and hang out. Staff are very friendly and accommodating."

"The noise travels far in the rooms. There was a family that just decided to take showers throughout the whole night and blow dry their hair. I had the worst sleep and had to wake up at 4am. But to be fair Casa Porta does provide ear plugs."

"The location is excellent. The staff, especially Nilton are exceptional. Felt very safe inside and in the surrounding area. They help you arrange tours and taxis. The daily breakfast is also greay"

"The room was fine, it was quiet enough for us because we were out all day. The building work next door should be finished in a few months. Casa Porta is very close the the sea and not far to walk to Kennedy Park. Calle Porta is very convenient for restaurants and little bodegas also a small cheap supermarket is not far from it. Very safe surroundings. Bring your own hairdryer if you need one. Breakfast was nice, staff friendly. All in all a very good stay and I would stay there again."

"The ventilation of the rooms could be better and is all very clean but can use better clean supplies with better smell(it is all clean thought). Could do events for solo travelers to interact with each other."

"While checking the name of the hotel, a bit confuse with H. Porta with the reservation name with CASA Porta. If have elevator will be wonderful XD. Only one cooking way of Egg. Maybe different kind of fruit each day."

"Everyone was so great and accommodating! The staff was very helpful and the rooms had such amazing charm. It was slim a great area that was very walkable and I couldn’t recommend it enough."
