"Bianca the manager was extremely pleasant and helpful. I just needed a cheap place for one night and wanted to be close to Plaza De Arias. It advertises as a hostel but has hotel rooms. I had a single room which was surprisingly big and comfortable. The room had great A/C and huge bed and nice bathroom. The street it is on I believe is under construction to be a pedestrian only street so it is very quite, no motor tuktuks noise buzzy around all night."
"Im not sure but I think I was the only one there that night. It may be noisy with hostel type guest. I was on the 2nd floor and could hear the nighttime front desk staff's conversation."
"It's the perfect place! The rooms are air-conditioned and comfortable and breakfast is lovely. The main plaza is just a few blocks away and there are lots of shops and restaurants. The owner was so helpful as well!"

"I wish I had known the road was ripped up right in front of the hotel. It may not have changed my decision to stay there, but at least I’d have expected to drag my rolling suitcase for 1 block thru a construction zone"
"Posizione eccellente: centralissima, ma tranquilla, dato che la struttura si trova su una via pedonale, a due passi dal Malecon. La colazione viene fatta al momento con prodotti freschissimi. Pulizia impeccabile. Ma la cosa più importante è che l’Hostal Macambo è gestito, con professionalità e cortesia, dalla signora Roxana che, con le sue ragazze, riesce subito a creare un’atmosfera cordiale e familiare. Inoltre, è sempre in aiuto, alle richieste del cliente. 🙏 Grazie a tutte voi! Tornerò da sicuro."
