"Melissa and her husband were wonderful hosts, welcoming us onto their property with a tour of the grazing lands behind the hotel, introducing us to all their animals (friendly dogs, llamas, sheep, cattle, chickens, rabbits), and conversing with us throughout the evening. They gave us advice on our trip through Peru and seemed genuinely interested in our travels. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and secluded. They cooked dinner (15 soles, I think) and breakfast for us (2-3 soles pp) and both were delicious with farm fresh eggs."
