"Location is hard to beat. You’re one or two minutes to the beach. I loved the restaurant. I ended up working from there most times. Friendly staff. I extended my stay because I didn’t want to leave. The guesthouse is not attached to the beach resort, but it’s just a minute walk and you can use their facilities. I loved that I had a terrace too."

"The place is wonderfully located and very clean especially for the price! You are 2 minutes from the beach and 5-10 minutes from the busy street with restaurants but away from the noise. Our room had bunk beds and a small shelf for things and then the bathroom. It was small and basic, but more than fit our needs as we weren’t planning on being in the room much. The shower was actually hot, the sheets very clean and comfortable, and they come sweep the floors if you request cleaning. The breakfast at the hotel is also quite nice. Only problem with the room was that the top bunk had very little airflow as the fan was positioned below it and so the person on top was quite warm or the person below quite cold. The WiFi at the restaurant works great but in the room was spotty, but again this wasn’t our main concern. Overall, we would definitely stay again."

"Better airflow, or a fan for the top bunk would be the biggest improvement. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best, but it was a nice shower and you were still able to shower, and the Wi-Fi connectivity in the rooms also wasn’t stable."

"- the road getting there is very bad - there’s no wifi in the room, only at the resort which is around the corner -a lot of ants on the bottom bunk bed - on the last day, the power didn’t work -the door to the bathroom doesn’t fully close and is very loud"

"Very convenient location, restaurants onsite and a nice beach for swimming close to the sardines run. The room was basic but had everything I needed."

"The room wasn’t nice to stay in for a long time as it was very dark. Unfortunately I experienced 2 rainy days while there and staying inside the dark room wasn’t that pleasant. The AC was very loud and switched it off at night as couldn’t hear my alarm in the morning. There was a laundry line outside of the tiny window and any sunlight/daylight was blocked by the drying laundry. Next time I would book the more expensive resort as otherwise you don’t see any daylight when inside."

"Perfect location, easy walking distance to the centre of the town with all the restaurants/parties, but quiet at night. It's affiliated to the Tipolo Resort and you can use their beach/facilities. Restaurant is nice and we booked tours through them (and loved it). It was super clean."

"The bed/mattress were not great. It was a wooden flat bed with a very thin mat on it, if you have budget consider booking the resort."

"We come back to Tipolo Guesthouse for a reason - it’s superb. The room is so well laid out that it feels much more spacious than it really is. Shelving, seating and the various cubby holes mean you can store all your snorkelling gear, clothes and luggage out of the way. Spacious bathroom with constant hot water seals the deal. Drying racks and a wrap around communal balcony meant we could move wet gear about to catch the sun. Tipolo Guesthouse is linked to Tipolo Resort with its beach access, restaurant, garden, terrace and all the Planet Action activities. When you take use of all these added amenities into account, choosing Tipolo Guesthouse is a no-brainer. Love the location too."
