"Possibly the best hostel ever. Clean, bright, perfect location, surf rental, big garden, bbq, literally anything you could think of. But above all the owners and the staff, who are some of the loveliest people you'll ever meet."

"We stayed in a small room with access to the backyard, it had a private bathroom. Good room for the price. Breakfast was included and we could use a communal kitchen. The people were very nice, the room was very clean just a bit hot a fan would be needed maybe. It's a good place for a small vacation near the beach (300m). Good for friends, surfers, or even couples. Wouldn't recommend for a family. Decoration is amazing."
"Room was a bit hot, and had a bit of noise since it was right in the backyard and near the kitchen. But usually there wasn't noise between 23h and 7h."

"Location is fantastic, it is close to the ocean. There is a locker for surfboards, a barrel to rinse wetsuits. The kitchen is great, with a lot of free stuff for cooking, tea, coffee etc. We had the rooftop apartment, which has its own kitchen and ocean view. Lots of surfers/travelers, always up for a chat. The owners were very kind and helpful. We had a great time."

"We were on the Fishermen's trail and only stayed one night and did not really use all the amenities. It's a lovely place and I can highly recommend it. Lovely staff. They also gave us a room upgrade with an amazing view."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"We did the Camino and it was right on the Camino trail. Payment is via cash only. The rooms are small but adequate for just one night. Nice place as it has its own vineyard. The caretaker is also very friendly. They provide a pilgrim dinner for 16 euro but we did not do that as we do not eat a heavy dinner. It did look good though."
