"Wonderful view, quiet and very clean place. Bathroom is very modern, very well equipped and clean. We had parking place in the yard. The surroundings are wonderful."

As a recommendation only: Maybe it will be good to offer twin bed rooms also, as an alternative. For us as a mature couple would be better.

"Beautiful grounds and views down the valley to the water. Interesting plants. Like a mini botanical garden. Restaurant was very good and restaurant staff were friendly. Holiday decorations were festive. Wood burning fireplaces in some common areas. Cozy bar."

Front desk staff were less friendly and we had some awkward moments related to spa services. The location is a bit remote and we didn’t have a car. Uber drivers didn’t drive into the property so we had to walk out to the road for pick up. The place is more geared towards guests with vehicles.

"This hostel was SO clean. It was pretty much spotless and I could smell just how clean it was."

The shower was pretty rough, the water wouldn’t stay warm for more than a few seconds at a time.

"Loved the bathroom, really modern and great facilities with bottles of shower gel and soap. Location perfect, 2 mins walk from centre of Alvor. Would definitely stay again."

"I had a very pleasant stay at this apartment. The location is excellent — close to everything in the city and easy to reach by public transport. The apartment itself is simply furnished and a bit dated, but it’s very complete and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Overall, a great place for anyone looking for a convenient and well-equipped base in the city"
