This eco-lodge is set in the Arrábida Nature Reserve and features dwelling units with sea views from their private patios. There is a salt-water swimming pool, tennis court and holistic wellness center. Built with natural materials and offering free Wi-Fi, Casal Do Frade’s romantic suites are decorated with wooden floors. They include private bathrooms with pink granite cabinets. After a refreshing swim in the water feature, guests can join yoga or pilates classes in the gardens. It is in addition possible to book a massage at the relaxation sanctuary or to play some billiards in the lounge. Guests can rent bicycles and bike up to Meco Beach, a 20-minute ride away. With free secure garage, the city of Sesimbra is a 10-minute drive away.

"We were on the Fishermen's trail and only stayed one night and did not really use all the amenities. It's a lovely place and I can highly recommend it. Lovely staff. They also gave us a room upgrade with an amazing view."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"We did the Camino and it was right on the Camino trail. Payment is via cash only. The rooms are small but adequate for just one night. Nice place as it has its own vineyard. The caretaker is also very friendly. They provide a pilgrim dinner for 16 euro but we did not do that as we do not eat a heavy dinner. It did look good though."
