Guest reviews for Hotel Douro
"Convenient location to stores, stores and restaurants."
"The walls between the room appeared to carry noise too well, especially the water running noise."
"The room was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful! i had a great stay."
"Aucun."
"Staff: They were the most helpful people that I have met. They helped me with all my requests and aided me in my endeavours. Location: It is about 9 minutes away from Casa da Musica metro station and 1 minute away from an important bus station. Breakfast: It was average from my POV. Lots o pastries but only 2 type of cheese and 1 type of ham. However, it is manageable. Bathroom: There was always hot water available and the toilet flushed properly. The shower cabin was decent in size and it closed properly. It was quite big overall. Room: It was very big in size. The bed was comfortable. The TV had about 30 channels available. The AC worked well, although I didn't need it much. One huge plus is the fact that my room was serviced daily, having the sheets and towels changed."
"Room: The walls have poor sound insulation. I could hear what neighbours were saying and doing. I even had to call the reception in one night to ask them, to ask the neighbours to keep the noise down as I couldn't sleep due to this."
"Everything! Especially the location & breakfast.. Close to the food/restaurant market and the metro"

"Convenient location, English speaking receptionists."
"The breakfast was below average."
"Nice, clean and value for money to explore Porto 20 min walking distance from center. 5 min from the metro that are stopping all the metro lines. From our window we had a view of the Koolhaas building (casa do musica)"
"After 21:00 everything in the area is closed and there is nothing to do during the night"
"Room was clean and big enough for a couple to stay"
"Breakfast can be improved - quite limited options were there"

"We were on the Fishermen's trail and only stayed one night and did not really use all the amenities. It's a lovely place and I can highly recommend it. Lovely staff. They also gave us a room upgrade with an amazing view."
Cedric Monte Carvalhal da Rocha
"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"super nice hosts, who drove us into town. possibility of hanging out in the main building - with a reading corner and a bar - in the evening, which was very cozy. comfortable bed, hot showers, good breakfast."
Heike Monte do Papa Leguas
"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
Graham Quinta Da Longra
"We did the Camino and it was right on the Camino trail. Payment is via cash only. The rooms are small but adequate for just one night. Nice place as it has its own vineyard. The caretaker is also very friendly. They provide a pilgrim dinner for 16 euro but we did not do that as we do not eat a heavy dinner. It did look good though."
"This place is so charming and having a kitchen and fireplace made it very nice."
Alison Tapada Flats
