"This place is conveniently located, with a friendly staff and a great atmosphere. It’s close to the city center and some nice places to visit. However, parking can be a bit challenging if you’re driving. Despite that, the charming ambiance and the balcony with a wonderful view make it worth the visit."

"It is just a little hard to park close to the place, and although the place itself was great, maybe some improvements like selling some drinks or things like that."

"My husband and I stayed in the small double room with shared bathroom. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - comfy bed, clean sheets and towels, hangers and cabinet, air conditioning, and black out curtains. Loved the location as well as the terrace. There is communal space with fridge, sink, and microwave."

"It would have been an even more comfortable stay if there were a floor mat or towel for the shower and hand soap in the dispenser. Other than that, everything else was wonderful!"

"Hotel is in a great location right in the middle of Tavira. Has a lovely roof patio to relax, eat meals and have a drink. Gentleman at reception supper nice."

"There are couple of flights of stairs. However gentleman at reception helps bring bags up and down."

"Loved the terraces and fridge facilities which enabled us to prepare simple meals, such as breakfast, at the property. The location was close to attractions and plenty of lovely restaurants and bars. The room was simple, but had everything you needed and was clean."

"We loved the location as it was right in the old city and just a few minutes walk to get the ferry and also not far from the bus station to walk. We also loved having the use of the rooftop areas which we used a lot to have our breakfasts and evening drinks. It was good to have the use of the communal fridge, microwave and jug too. Our room was very comfortable and clean."

"It is not really a complaint but we didn't need to have our room serviced each day with fresh towels and sheets and there was no option to leave a sign on the door to say that we didn't want this. We very rarely saw someone in the office area so we could not let them know."

"A terrace, at two levels, was really good for relaxing with good views over Tavira. Lovely restaurant next to the entrance to the hotel (Zeca de Bica). Owners Miguel and Claudia were very helpful and friendly without being too intrusive"

"Great location near the stop for the tourist train on the river. Central for all sightseeing and restaurants. Basic room, [smallest shower I've ever been in] but there's a large fridge, microwave and kettle in the seating area for anyone who wants to use. No tea/coffee/sugar etc so bring your own. Cups and plates provided, no knives, forks etc. Very little nightlife in Tavira but we brought a bottle of wine that we had left in the communal fridge [very safe] out onto the terrace. There is an upper terrace [ narrow flight of stairs you might miss] and it is amazing, a real find!! Comfortable wicker furniture with cushions, sun loungers, LED lights and geat views of the city. Highly recommend 👌 and Manuel let us check in 3 hours early!!"

"Pokey little toilet with annoying toilet seat that wouldn't stay up. Difficult to find parking nearby. A hassle to get the luggage upstairs. Can be a bit noisy as people outside are audible."
