"Great location across from train station and buses to Pena Palace. Stored our luggage for short time after checkout. Lots of restaurants in area. Wonderful host."
"Construction noise from building next to our room-usually 9-6 day. We were gone mostly during the time."
"The staff was incredibly nice and the room was very clean. I would highly recommend. It’s also near the main attractions, bus, and food. I haven’t watched tv in so long so it was nice that there was one."
"The cot was a little uncomfortable but that would be the only complaint."
"Loved the location! Right across from where the train station and where the 434/435 stop. Bit quiet inside. Small cozy rooms but who’s hanging out in their room in Sintra!"
"Would have loved a hair dryer! Beds are a rather firm."
"great location, easy walk from train station. great having free luggage storage before and after stay"

"Firstly, we very much liked our host, Diogo. He was very easy to communicate with and gave us all the necessary details for a late arrival. There was a train strike in Lisbon during our visit. The room was cute and cozy and, despite being across from a busy street and train station, it was quiet. We loved the location of Monte da Lua. We were able to walk to Quinta da Regaleira and old Sintra, and hop on buses everywhere else. The Moorish Castle, Peña Palace, the Palace of Monserrate. There were plenty of good restaurants, especially InComun, where we ate two nights in a row. But that’s another review. Overall, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat."
"We did t know about how some of the doors and windows lean in from the top as well as open. We were worried that the door was broken. False alarm! Other than that, everything was just fine."
"Amazing hostess! During the blackout she took amazing care of us, and helped others on the street as well"

"We were on the Fishermen's trail and only stayed one night and did not really use all the amenities. It's a lovely place and I can highly recommend it. Lovely staff. They also gave us a room upgrade with an amazing view."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"We did the Camino and it was right on the Camino trail. Payment is via cash only. The rooms are small but adequate for just one night. Nice place as it has its own vineyard. The caretaker is also very friendly. They provide a pilgrim dinner for 16 euro but we did not do that as we do not eat a heavy dinner. It did look good though."
"This place is so charming and having a kitchen and fireplace made it very nice."

"The hosts were great. A family-run guest house, good value for money and a great way to experience the local culture. The nearby restaurant they recommended was a real gem."
Naude Casa Dos Gomes
"The proprietor was wonderful. The common outside areas were very beautiful. The common inside area was a museum—-super interesting. The restaurant was very, very good! Fantastic! The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
