"Everything!!! The location and the hotel itself, absolutely beautiful!!! I visited the botanical garden at Monte and the hotel also felt like a big garden ! Staffs were very nice, rooms were very big and everything was great!"

"An excellent location. The cable car connection to center was easy and Monte Palace Botanical Garden was close. Hotel garden is beautiful and has good amount of parking spaces. The pool was a nice extra. The bar offers food until 23. The view from the room was beautiful."

"The view, atmosphere and staff were exquisite. The location is troublesome to get to. Basically all that can be done by personnel was really good and all that is defined by architecture shows its history. A very pleasant stay. And if you are planning on driving, check the elevation maps, then check them again and believe that it is THAT steep."

"Clean, quiet and the staff was amazing. Breakfast was great. Riding the gondola down to Funchal for the day was really fun and a nice break from driving. Having a separate living room was wonderful since I get up earlier than my husband."
