As soon as you pass the gate to this place you feel like in another world. "The property is beautiful and located in a quiet area around Viana do Castelo. We wanted a quite place to spend a couple of days and this place couldn’t be better! The house is well maintained by Luis and D. Rosa and has a nice swimming pool. Breakfast was amazing, D.Rosa and her personnel made sure with had everything we needed, and everything had a personal touch. We felt welcomed and had a peaceful time! Obrigado D. Rosa and Luís!"

Luis Alberto and Rosa are the most amazing hosts and couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. "Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"We did the Camino and it was right on the Camino trail. Payment is via cash only. The rooms are small but adequate for just one night. Nice place as it has its own vineyard. The caretaker is also very friendly. They provide a pilgrim dinner for 16 euro but we did not do that as we do not eat a heavy dinner. It did look good though."
