"What a gem! This is a superbly well managed property, our host D. Laura is an amazing housekeeper. The value for money is incredible. The region is beautiful and the swimming pool overseeing the valley the cherry on top of this super good stay. The kids also loved it!"

"Breakfast was good but lacked variety. Well presented at a time we agreed with the host and served in a beautiful dining room with large table, clean white table cloth and lovely coffee."
"Our stay was in December and it was cold. The room had heating but it was not sufficient for the size of room. UK television would have been a bonus but we could get that in the downstairs lounge."

"We were on the Fishermen's trail and only stayed one night and did not really use all the amenities. It's a lovely place and I can highly recommend it. Lovely staff. They also gave us a room upgrade with an amazing view."

"Beautiful property just outside of town. Secure parking for motorcycle travel. Town has plenty of public parking if you don't mind being 2km from center. Unit was vary nice with seperate sitting area, kitchen, outside veranda overlooking garden. Bedroom upstairs in loft area. Only thing I didn't understand was a sign at tge kitchen sink saying not to put water in glass. Maybe water is not safe to drink?"

The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
