"Comfortable room and bed , clean and very friendly. Excellent restaurant for dinner and great breakfast"

"The hotel is clean and beautiful. There is a large parking lot, a lovely pool and delicious breakfasts. Very nice staff. It was difficult to find a place to stay in Elvas for my dates, but I was lucky to catch this option at a reasonable price. We will definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises."
"The short period of our stay"
"Room great. Reception great. Two very helpful women."
"Did not know that there was no bar or restaurant."
"Very friendly helpful staff, dog friendly rooms. Great restaurant attached to hotel that also does take away if you want to eat in your room. 5 minutes from the motorway so a very quiet but convenient stop of if you’re driving."
"The beds are smaller doubles, not a problem for us as we’re not large people but some might find it a bit snug"
"Second time I’ve stayed here. Lovely hotel, my dogs are happy to be here also. Breakfast included. Rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed. Great restaurant connected to hotel."

"Outside a little tired. Despite being next to a lorry park, it really wasn’t an issue."
"Good clean spacious room. Restaurant was really good. We went early and glad we did as it filled up even though there were not many guests staying. So I guess locals drive to eat there too. Only stayed one night to did not use the lovely swimming pool or other facilities."

"We were on the Fishermen's trail and only stayed one night and did not really use all the amenities. It's a lovely place and I can highly recommend it. Lovely staff. They also gave us a room upgrade with an amazing view."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"super nice hosts, who drove us into town. possibility of hanging out in the main building - with a reading corner and a bar - in the evening, which was very cozy. comfortable bed, hot showers, good breakfast."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"We did the Camino and it was right on the Camino trail. Payment is via cash only. The rooms are small but adequate for just one night. Nice place as it has its own vineyard. The caretaker is also very friendly. They provide a pilgrim dinner for 16 euro but we did not do that as we do not eat a heavy dinner. It did look good though."
"This place is so charming and having a kitchen and fireplace made it very nice."

"The hosts were great. A family-run guest house, good value for money and a great way to experience the local culture. The nearby restaurant they recommended was a real gem."
