"Great room, great staff and great breakfast. We arrived from hiking early at 1pm and found our room ready. It made our stay even better to have the extra time to relax on the spacious balcony and enjoy the stunning sea view."

"Loved the staff, they were absolutely friendly. We left a watch in the room and got a call immediately. The breakfast buffet was really good, we loved the fresh orange juice and the fruit and vegetables. Also the sauna was a plus as the weather didn't allow us to use the pool."

"Room was surprisingly large and very private - loved the outdoor patio facing the pool. Staff was SO sweet & helpful - the front desk manager has us a list of places we should visit before we left the area and we had a lovely day trip as a result. Breakfast was perfect and the restaurant area was so nice. We are already talking about coming back next year with our families!"

"We were on the Fishermen's trail and only stayed one night and did not really use all the amenities. It's a lovely place and I can highly recommend it. Lovely staff. They also gave us a room upgrade with an amazing view."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Beautiful property just outside of town. Secure parking for motorcycle travel. Town has plenty of public parking if you don't mind being 2km from center. Unit was vary nice with seperate sitting area, kitchen, outside veranda overlooking garden. Bedroom upstairs in loft area. Only thing I didn't understand was a sign at tge kitchen sink saying not to put water in glass. Maybe water is not safe to drink?"

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
