"It was a last-minute decision to book this after a horrendous stay elsewhere and what a relief! Gorgeous, sustainable practices were apparent, and a very well-equipped kitchen. Super comfy beds, plenty of space, internet worked wonderfully. I have nothing but praise for the accommodations and staff. Food options on site were very good also."

"We stayed in a two bedroom premium apartment with family and the size and comfort is very good. Vilar do Golf is in a prime location with lots of services nearby and beach. Prefect for families."

"We were on the Fishermen's trail and only stayed one night and did not really use all the amenities. It's a lovely place and I can highly recommend it. Lovely staff. They also gave us a room upgrade with an amazing view."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"We did the Camino and it was right on the Camino trail. Payment is via cash only. The rooms are small but adequate for just one night. Nice place as it has its own vineyard. The caretaker is also very friendly. They provide a pilgrim dinner for 16 euro but we did not do that as we do not eat a heavy dinner. It did look good though."
